AHSOKA Character Bios Reveals New Details About The Show's Villains, Including Marrok The Sith Inquisitor

Ahsoka is mere weeks away from its two-episode premiere on Disney+, and excitement is building. As a result of the SAG-AFTRA strike, the cast won't be able to promote the series, though we're hoping Lucasfilm is about to step up the show's marketing campaign in a big way.

There have been lots of rumours about the Star Wars Rebels follow-up, which is no huge shock when it has so many big mysteries to answer after the way that animated series ended. Among them is the return of Grand Admiral Thrawn and Ezra Bridger, though Ahsoka's new additions are every bit as intriguing.

Thanks to StarWars.com (via SFFGazette.com), we have new details about Magistrate Morgan Elsbeth, Baylan Skoll, Shin Hati, and that mysterious Sith Inquisitor.

With Ahsoka taking place at least five years after the Empire's fall, many fans have questioned why or how there's still an Inquisitor serving his dead Masters (Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader). However, it seems all these villains, including Marrok, serve the Grand Admiral...

Marrok

Once an Inquisitor hunting Jedi for the Empire, the mysterious Marrok now works as a mercenary hired by Morgan Elsbeth to carry out dark deeds. Fully encased in battered battle armor, the warrior still carries a red double-bladed saber with a circular hilt.

Magistrate Morgan Elsbeth

The coldhearted former Magistrate of Calodan, Morgan Elsbeth is an ally of Grand Admiral Thrawn and an enemy of the New Republic. A formidable fighter with a mysterious past, Elsbeth once hunted Ahsoka Tano on the world of Corvus before she was bested in battle and arrested for acting as an Imperial sympathizer.

Baylan Skoll

Baylan Skoll is lightsaber-wielding mercenary for hire overseeing his apprentice Shin Hati. But make no mistake: although there was a time when Skoll knew the acclaimed Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, Baylan is no Jedi. Now allied to Morgan Elsbeth, the former Magistrate of Calodan, after the fall of the Jedi and the Empire, Skoll remains a shrewd fighter in search of power who believes that another war is inevitable

Shin Hati

The eager apprentice of Baylan Skoll, Shin Hati is adept at lightsaber combat, a skill she uses in their work as mercenaries allied to Morgan Elsbeth, the former Magistrate of Calodan.

We can't help but wonder whether Marrok's helmet will eventually be removed, revealing a familiar face beneath it. Your guess is as good as ours when it comes to who that will be, but there are plenty of compelling possibilities.

Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.

Ahsoka will launch exclusively on Disney+ on August 23 with a two-episode premiere.

Lots of women have referred to DrTraggerr as Rey P.

...I don't know why. I guess that's his real name?

All these character bios makes me think Elsbeth might be the main villain in this. Can't put my finger on why I think that though

Out of these villains , I’m most looking forward to seeing Baylan honestly.

He just seems like the most intriguing to me , plus it’s one of if not Ray Stevenson’s last performance aswell so that’s the big reason for me…

The man just had a presence to him and seeing him in the Ahsoka trailers proves that even more.

Ray Stevenson was the most comic accurate Punisher we he ever had, literally the Garth Ennis MAX version ripped from the page to screen......I'm sure he'll be great in this show too.

Marrok will probably end up being a nobody, but I'm hoping it's Barriss Offee.
