THE MANDALORIAN: Clancy Brown Addresses A Potential Return As The Villainous Burg In Season 2

Clancy Brown had a memorable role in The Mandalorian as Burg, but could he - and his fellow criminals - make a return in the upcoming season two? Find out what the actor had to say after the jump...

"The Prisoner" is considered one of The Mandalorian's best episodes, and it featured an eclectic group of criminals Din Djarin was forced to team up with. After they betrayed him aboard that Rebel prison transport, the bounty hunter took them out one-by-one and left them behind bars as he made his escape.

You have to believe that they now want revenge, so could we see Clancy Brown reprise his role as the massive Burg? During a recent interview with The People's Movies, the actor addressed the possibility of making a return to a Galaxy Far, Far Away, but doesn't seem confident about it happening.

"Nobody has talked to me so probably not," he laughed.

That appears to be the end of that, but if Burg and his fellow crooks are set to target Din Djarin again, chances are Brown wouldn't say! However, it seems more likely that they won't return until season three, as it's hard to imagine there being time for a rematch when Din is setting off on a mission to find his fellow Mandalorians and The Child's people.

In season two, The Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire. The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito, and the first three are highlighted here alongside The Child.

Would you like Burg to return in The Mandalorian

@dracula - what a waste of Clancy Brown. When I learned he was the voice of a certain cartoon I was like
Now that’s getting your money’s worth!

This is exactly the reason we need author's names on articles. One throw away remark does not make an article, if I had seen it was Josh I would not have bothered.

On another topic:
Finished Watchmen and The Boys today, both are good, although I think I enjoyed The Boys more, for sure not what I expected, was expecting a darker more ronchi Tick type show, but yeah was still great.
Now im watching

Doctor Who

Rewatching series 1-8, after that im going in blind, Matt Smith was my Doctor and just couldn't get into Capaldi, plus the writting had been going down hill, but ive heard it got better. Really not looking forward to Whittaker's seasons, from what ive heard boring, plus some seriously dumb creative choices.

Lois And Clark The New Adventures Of Superman

Never saw it before, so its basically a superman sitcom right?

The Tick animated series

Enjoyed the 2001 show, and loved the amazon one (should not have been cancelled). first time watching this one

I thought the crew was coming back for the second season. It was cool to see Clancy Brown in a live-action role too for once, but I imagine they couldn't find a place for him in the crew's return (although there is still that bounty on Mando's head)

It may be interesting to watch Leia Bounty Hunter. This is a great way for Leia to move through the underworld without attracting attention. Then she can talk to Mando and he would have no idea that she is a princess.

That was easily my least favorite episode of the series. Not that it was horrible but Burr's crew just seemed so dimwitted and over-acted. It was hard to believe they would be capable of surviving any caper, let alone a dangerous one.

Clancy is mates with Filoni. He's voiced Savage Opress and Ryder from Rebels. He'll be back.
