The Heavy Infantry Mandalorian is another character from the Disney+ TV series who has taken the world by storm, and we get a much closer look at his armour and weaponry thanks to this Hot Toys figure...

"This is the way."

In Chapter 3 of The Mandalorian, we got to meet even more Mandalorians, including one who has since gone on to become something of a breakout star in the Disney+ series. Dubbed the Heavy Infantry Mandalorian, he was voiced by Jon Favreau and kicked some serious ass in the show.

Now, Hot Toys has revealed its 1/6th scale collectible figure which features a newly designed helmet and armor pieces, meticulously tailored outfit, beautifully applied weathering effects, finely sculpted jetpack, highly detailed and articulated heavy blaster with ammo belt, a blade, and a desert-themed figure base (all of which can be seen in great detail in the gallery below).

The figure will likely boast a $200+ price tag and should go on sale next year. Still, if you're a fan, then this will be a must-buy, and we'll hopefully see more of this Mandalorian down the line.

Iconic huh? This guy is iconic you say?

iconic = of, relating to or characteristic of an icon:

* a picture, image, or other representation.
* Eastern Church. a representation of some sacred personage, as Christ or a saint or angel, painted usually on a wood surface and venerated itself as sacred.
* a sign or representation that stands for its object by virtue of a resemblance or analogy to it.
* a person or thing that is revered or idolized.

How bout just write it's really cool, or something else less fantastic. You've got a thesaurus, use it!

If everything is super, nothing is.

@Tensorpants - While I agree that Josh's use of adjectives has always been abysmal, this is something way too small to get your britches in a bundle about. It adds nothing to the conversation but negativity.

OK, please tell me I'm not the only one who thought that guy sounded nothing like Jon Favreau? At least on a first watch?

Apparently people were able to pick up that it was him immediately. Like wtf, I still don't think it sounds like him.

UPDATE: lol ok, so I literally just watched his scenes again and I guess I can hear him in there now. But still baffled how people called it was him so quickly

@Kurne - exactly how I felt! I rewatched it and could hear it more, but I never would have picked up on it myself

Episode 3 was great. AND with all the good news about ticket sales for the new Star Wars movie my prediction is 200 to 250 million opening weekend.

@DoubleD - they won't get my money for TROS but I'm happy to support The Mandalorian (even though I have D+ free for 12 months thanks to Verizon).

The Mandalorian is the first thing since 1983 that feels like Star Wars.

Baby Yoda and jetpacking Mandalorians to the rescue were the most exciting actual SW surprises since Vader tossed the Emperor over the railing.

Prove me wrong.

@Batmangina - I'd argue the Vader scene in Rogue One. Caught me by surprise and blew me away.

@Benjamitesandwich - That's an excellent rebuttal - it feels too shiny and perfect vibe wise to be in the vein of the original 'lived in' universe of the OT and it leads into CGI Leia which is a vibe killer (for me).

But I will agree that it kicks total ass and I am going to watch it again today - thanks for the reminder!
