THE MANDALORIAN Season 2 Honest Trailer Struggles To Find Anything To Make Fun Of

Most fans would agree that The Mandalorian Season 2 was a rousing success, but the guys over at Screen Junkies have still decided to make it the subject of their latest Honest Trailer... for some reason.

A few issues aside, Season 2 of The Mandalorian was generally considered a major success, and, for the most part, Star Wars fans didn't have a lot of negative things to say about it. So, of course, Screen Junkies decided to make the Disney+ series the subject of their latest Honest Trailer.

Over the course of the video, Voice-Over Guy lambasts the worst aspects of the season, such as Din Djarin making a lot of deals with people, Baby Yoda being the subject of memes, and... umm, the introduction of fan-favourite characters.

Yeah, it's all a little embarrassing to be honest, and about as funny as a burning orphanage. We're not suggesting Season 2 of The Mandalorian was perfect by any means, but if you're struggling this hard to find things to take the piss out of, maybe it would have been best to scrap this particular HT idea and move on to Tenet or something?

Check out the trailer for yourselves below and let us know what you think.

The Mandalorian will return for a third season in 2022. Let's just hope he doesn't look at as many maps this time, or we may stop watching!

"Ranger of the New Republicans" had no right being as funny as it was.

I’ve been digging The Mandalorian...actually thought S2 was head and shoulders above S1.

But I do think there is something to say about the “story of the week” structure to the storytelling. The episodes are short and don’t give much room for the characters to breathe.

There are times where I’m just utterly confused too because I haven’t watched The Clone Wars or other SW content.

@dragon316

(isn’t Wanda series same length as this show ?)

Yes, WandaVision is probably even shorter than this show but it still seems to be building to this overarching narrative that The Mandalorian doesn’t seem to have set.

@regularmovieguy - Yeah the story and structure of Mandolorian is really lacking and the acting from several co-stars aswell. Don't think I would continue to watch the show if I weren't a life long SW fan.

Haha that's rich that you're criticizing these guys for not having enough content to make a video when just a couple days ago someone on this site made an article about a DoorDash Driver's tweet being confirmation that Andrew Garfield is in Spider-Man 3.

@RIPSTEPHEN - You're right.. because one of our writers ran a widely reported rumor, we shouldn't be allowed to criticize or hold a negative opinion on anything ever again. I shall delete this article immediately.

@RorMachine - Not the point I was making but if you choose to see it that way, by all means.

Also, widely reported? Interesting that all I can find is six articles on the topic, none of which come from reputable sources like Variety or Deadline.

Yikes these get worse and worse. Anyway, I like the weekly standalone with overarching stories. Reminds me of 90s Trek. I just wish they were all longer. Having an hour one week, and then 30 minutes the next can be a bit of a downer

I actually thought this was really funny. The main problem with any TV show is the repetitiveness, so that makes a perfect base for them to riff on. It's all in good fun.

Yeah, these guys have to try way too hard for being not anywhere near as funny as they used to be.

Let CinemaSins find some fault to poke fun at in it. Their cynisism and lack of joy is inexhaustible.

I mean there's definitely criticsm to be made. The entire Seasons plot was like playing Mario Bros. Mando spends the whole season being told where to go next like its a video game. But it has awesome fanservice
