As a holiday treat, director Robert Rodriguez (Sin City, We Can Be Heroes) has taken to Twitter to share a behind-the-scenes video from the set of The Mandalorian, and if you're a Grogu fan (who isn't?), then this might be the most adorable thing you'll see all year.
The short video sees Rodriguez, who helmed the recent "The Tragedy" season 2 episode, playing guitar while the animatronic Grogu dances along to the music.
"Here’s a Christmas present to all those who asked me what it’s like to hang out with Baby Yoda on the set of #TheMandalorian #TheTragedy," said the filmmaker. "Check out #DisneyGallery for more behind the scenes!"
The season 2 finale of The Mandalorian saw "Baby Yoda" part ways with Din Djarin when Luke Skywalker (this can't be considered a spoiler anymore, surely?) arrived to take the young force-wielder under his wing. We will almost certainly see Mando and Child reunited at some point, but probably not until 2022 at the earliest.
In the meantime, Rodriguez is on board as a producer for The Book of Boba Fett, which is set to premiere on Disney+ around this time next year.
