Season two of The Mandalorian is shrouded in secrecy, with the casting of Rosario Dawson, Timothy Olyphant, Temuera Morrison, and Sasha Banks. The latter is a pro wrestler in WWE, and it's been reported that she has been cast as a live-action version of Star Wars Rebels character Sabine Wren.
That's not been confirmed, but we did catch a glimpse of her in the first trailer for the Disney+ series. There, she was watching Din Djarin from afar while hidden in a cloak (a far cry from the colourful Mandalorian armour Sabine donned in Dave Filoni's popular animated TV show).
Recently, Banks was asked about her role in The Mandalorian during The New Day's "Feel The Power" podcast, and while she couldn't say much, she did share a small update about the show.
"It still has not hit me," Banks said of joining the Star Wars franchise. "There is not much I can talk about yet. All I can say is I’m in it. I can’t believe it. I’m so excited and can’t wait for everybody to see it. Season 2 is going to be so incredible. I have not seen the episodes. I probably won’t even know what’s going on actually (until it airs). It’s so secretive."
If Banks hasn't been cast as Sabine, there will be a lot of disappointed fans out there. However, it's definitely best to temper expectations as she might just be some random villain in the show!
