Venom: Let There Be Carnage was recently delayed by a few weeks, and we're hoping the Sony Pictures movie proves to be worth the wait. Earlier today, it was confirmed that the sequel will also arrive in the UK on October 15 (meaning no early sneak peek for those overseas), and theater chain, Vue, might have confirmed plans for a big cameo in Andy Serkis' Venom follow-up.
It's already been reported that J.K. Simmons has shot material for Morbius, so we were expecting an appearance in this movie as well, especially as it serves as loose connective tissue to what's happening in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Spider-Man.
"The impressive cast also features Michelle Williams (Venom, The Greatest Showman), J.K. Simmons (Justice League, Whiplash, Spider-Man: Far From Home), Naomie Harris (Moonlight, No Time To Die), Stephen Graham (Line of Duty, Rocketman, The Irishman) and Tom Hollander (Bohemian Rhapsody, Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle)," reads a listing on Vue's website.
Now, it's important to note that this might just be an assumption on the part of whoever wrote this for the site based on past rumours and reports. We can't help but be intrigued, though, especially as the trailers for the movie have shown us The Daily Bugle's website and newspaper.
The question is, will Simmons be playing the same version of Jonah we saw in Spider-Man: Far From Home? That might be a question best answered by No Way Home this December!
