Heres the info:

Even though top Hollywood talent like Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg are interested in developing a "Halo" movie, Microsoft is still not making any plans to turn their popular game into a feature film.

Fans who are curious to see what a "Halo" movie would look like, where previously treated to a few ads by Neill Blomkamp (District 9). Today, we have a new, amazing, live-action trailer for "Halo 3: ODST," which you can check out below.

The commercial is directed by Rupert Sanders, the man behind the "Halo 3: Believe" ad, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" video game ad and the Monster.com ad that features a man with huge legs.



So if they ever make a Halo film this is what it will probably look like.

Holy Crap...but you're right NJdevil. The ad blew my mind, but then the Xbox chime took me right out of it. I could see the live action movie being killer, but then right before the credits the Xbox chime kicks in and ruins the atmosphere.

I hope if they ever do a Halo movie that it has the same integrity as the video game. We don't need any more raping of cool video games for bullshit movies. Hollywood jumps on all things sacred like fleas on dogs just to make the quick buck, we deserve some quality here with Halo

ODST or not, look closer, you can see the face, but only shortly. A second visor falls down shielding the face.

They should just make a movie based off this game. I mean gotta love the Master Chief but i think this game will make a better story.

Could of done without the music, but the action was kool, especially the helmets and the way they made the Elites.

Yea Grif, but i doubt they would do that. They might do it to the other Spartans but definitely not Master Chief. I just hope they keep the guy that does his voice

i can't wait for the new game,also,whoever thinks the game sucks and the movie is good is just dumb. the movie is based off the game so they're obviously gonna be similar in one way or another.

that was awesome, they need to hurry up and make a Halo movie already.

I'm not even a big fan of Halo, but the premise of a movie is just exciting to me, the story of Halo is really good and the movie would have so much action.

i see what your saying, and i can actually see them doing that with the visor. they're going to pick a big name actor for Master Chief if they ever make this into a movie. and if they do that, they'll more than likely want the actor to have face time. so seeing his face through the visor is probably a good possiblilty. which sucks...
