It's finally here people, after a decade of waiting, false release dates, and bullshit rumors, we're finally getting Duke Nukem Forever.

Gamer Informer is reporting that the release date for the upcoming game is going to be May 3rd in America, and May 6th worldwide.

Randy Pitchford, the president of Gearbox had this to say.

"Somehow the guys at Game Informer magazine discovered Duke Nukem Forever's launch date before I did, but I cannot imagine any better video game news source team than Game Informer to reveal the moment of truth for the most inconceivable, incorrigible and inspiring turn around story in the history of the video game industry – the coming of Duke Nukem Forever on May 3, 2011."

There you have it folks, the reveal for one of the most anticipated video games for the past 12 years.

So with this being finally released, maybe this will pave the way for future Duke Nukem games without us waiting a decade this time? Fingers crossed.

It's been too long Duke, welcome back.
