This is what Sienna Guillory wrote on Twitter about her returning to the Screen Gem's franchise:

RE:5 alert! Training begins! I aim to mostly put less in the big hole on the front of my face than comes out of the little one on my arse.


Milla Jovovich, is probably returning again as Alice.

The set date is planned for September 14, 2012.

bout time for a reboot,all the films are piss poor.

if they followed the games more,they would be a 1000x better then the current shit.

silent hill got it right & now thats got a sequel coming.

screen gem should be taking note,silent hill is an excellent adaption.

they need to make the movie as accurate and as truthful as the game..storyline-wise..if they can get anywhere as good as Silent Hill movie,then i think we'll hav a solid RE movie..and pls no more of 'super-power Alice'..time for Leon to enter the frame.. :D

Good to hear jill is returning but the movies were terrible. Jill should have her own movie, should not be some crappy alice sidekick.


They need to respect the original developers.

All the other video game movies suck though, agreed.

(Tho MK I has its moments of being a good movie too)

RE 2 is my all-time fave RE movie, love that movie!

Dude the RE franchise is a billion times better than the X-Men Fox one! : p

oh end this abortion of a franchise, good god, its so [frick]ing shit

I love the first two, but the second two were the worst examples of movies ever made and this is coming from a major Milla Jovovich fan. I felt like punching something after watching the last so called "movie". The guy who played Wesker was so wooden I could have made a full furniture set from him. It makes me so pissed off that there is no Halo movie but this crap franchise limps on. There is so much better games that could be made into movies. End of rant lol
