Boris Kodjoe (Surrogates) has got more info about Resident Evil: Afterlife after announcing last week on his very own Twitter account that he is part of the cast. Don't be a zombie, read all here...

Kodjoe told BlackFilm.com that Ali Larter will be back as Claire Redfield and that "Prison Break's" Wentworth Miller is on board as well (Good news).

Boris Kodjoe plays the leader of the survivors in LA. Milla Jovovich’s character, Alice, is roaming the world looking for survivors and she lands in LA, which has been burning for three years (Ouch). Alice comes across an LA jail surrounded by these zombies, of course.

From Kodjoe: "Yeah, they’re those monsters, what are they called? (Zombies) Anyway, she comes across the jail and there’s a couple of survivors and she lands on top of the roof and partners up with me to fight the guys that are coming after them. We’re trying to get all of the survivors out of the jail to safety. We’re starting next week, actually".

Uhhhh... what ever happened to the 'Japan' storyline at the end of the last film? Wasn't Alice supposed to go to the Orient to kick Corporate @ss? That's what was eluded to at the end of the film...

yeah i thought they were gonna go with the clone angle. you just never know with this franchise. but i like the movies enough. and i think wentworth is great so glad hes getting roles. hope its not a bad one and his last.

I was kinda' hoping to see the return of Sienna Guillory (aka 'Jill Valentine' - the brunette hottie with the blue halter-top, black MINI-skirt, and the .45's in 'Apocalypse'). She was smokin'!!!! Whatever happened to HER character? Oded Fehr ('Carlos') came back for 'Extinction', but she disappeared - what gives?

Jill Valentine is my favorite RE character and it pissed me off how lame she was in part 2. The actress playing her was [frick]ing awful and never once gave me the impression she could kick my ass, which Jill in the game very much does. After her, Leon is the man and I think Miller could nail that role.

Hope its still a good movie, I personally liked the 2nd movie, but the last wasn't all that great. Hope they make up for that one

Personally I think that Wentworth Miller was cast to play Leon Scott Kennedy. IT was rumored from the beginning that he might have a role in Afterlife and hearing Miller being cast has me believing that he is playing Leon which would FREAKIN ROCK!

Miller would be a great Leon but wasn't Jensen Ackles supposed to be Leon??? I would have prefered giving it to Jensen so he can show everyone just how awesome he is, even on the big screne!!! It would concrete his PERFECTNESS for Steve Rogers with all the "TV Actor Haters" :)) If Jeffrey Dean Morgan can do it, Jensen can top him!!!

Shaman I agree he would be a great Leon but I'm just excited that they may FINALLY be putting Leon in the movies. Over all the 2nd movie was OK but I was HIGHLY pissed that they didn't add Leon and seeing how this is the 4th movie and the 4th game was HUGE they better put him in there (yes I know they aren't really going off the Game story line with the movie but they should at least add in the characters that are in the games)

I got to admit that Wentworth is not the first person I would have cast as Leon but I cant deny that he is going to be good. I hope that they have Leon's background close to the one in the game. Leon has been my favorite character since I played the second game so I am really hoping they dont mess him up.

Omg, seriously, I am done with RE. They took my favorite childhood game and just practiclly raped it on screen. First was, eh. Second was actually pleasent. Third was one giant WTF moment with a crappy Claire. Hurry up and get done with the Milla franchise and reboot it with Jill and Chris, hell just use the novels (The Umbrella Conspiracy, look it up) as source material and then you would have IMO a perfect movie. If only...

I won't watch it as I love the video games and these movie SUCK!!!!! Sorry @anyone who likes them, but I hate the movie!!!! THe video games are so well done, but the movies just plain SUCKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!
