As soon as he finishes promoting Fast And Furious 6, Paul Walker will be shaving his head in order to play 'Agent 47' in a remake of Hitman (a 2007 adaptation of the video game franchise starred Justified's Timothy Olyphant). The movie also has a writer and director. Read on for details!

Deadline has broken the news that Fox International Productions are moving ahead with a reboot of Hitman. The video game franchise has been a hit for developers Square Enix and while the 2007 movie failed to impress critics, it did make over $100 million at the worldwide box office. Paul Walker, star of The Fast And Furious franchise, has signed up to play 'Agent 47' and shooting is expected to take place in Berlin and Singapore this summer. The title of the film will actually be Agent 47 and commercials director Aleksander Bach will make his feature helming debut with the project. The screenplay was written by A Good Day To Die Hard's Skip Woods and Mike Finch.

Paul Walker? I guess I'd have to see it to believe it. I always wish that role would go to Jason Statham. Just shave him completely and you got Agent 47 right there!

I dont like Jason Statham that much as an actor, but he could pull it of.

I dont see this being any more successful than the first one. Why this over all the other games? Bring on the Gears of War and Mass Effect films.

@Tajin88, yup, he can pull off the look and most of the action scenes believably, as for actually acting... Statham doesn't need to have that many speaking lines to really get into it. I miss those films when you really don't need much of it really centering on the titular character. Wish they can have the whole story revolve on the people he interacts with as him as the catalyst that brings it in the beginning all the way to ending it, with no one among them knowing who he really is till the very last scene.

Weird choice... I know Mike Fassbender is going to do Assassin's Creed but I think he'd be a killer Agent 47 (pun unintended)...

@LOL Jason Statham isn't allowed to be Agent 47 he is under an obligation contract to the Transporter Series. When they signed him part of the deal was he couldn't play the Hitman since the characters are so similar. @Lightningfilms I agree that Rosenbaum would be a decent choice, however he has already stated before in a couple interviews I believe that he has no interest in playing that character. He's more of a comedy buff than anything really action related, he always said that Smallville would be the closest he'd come to action. @KamenRider There is a spot in hell waiting for the people that decided to throw together that POS Green Lantern Script and actually make it that way. I mean seriously WTH was Warner Brothers thinking? If they wanted to mkae money they should have made a good GL film not a POS with Deadpool in it... That movie was wrong in every way possible, I mean I have to rant here a minute I will give you 5 major reasons that film was garbage and the 5 things they should have done in the first place.

1. No Allan Scott Hello he is the original GL at least show him walking by and getting hit with a piece of wood from the POS Paralax they created smashing things.

2. They had the GL Corps but not any of the awesome members great examples are C'hp, Arasia, Mogo (yes I understand he's a planet they could have found a way to show him). Do I need to go on about how badly they messed up the Corps? Sallak looked like crap the Guardians even looked like crap, Paralax and his CG was the worst though...

3. WTH were you thinking changing the Lantern? Wanted to make it more Alien like in nature? So show another GL member with an alien Lantern and have Hal have his Lantern. God it's even hard for me to write about this SHAME ON YOU WARNER BROTHERS for making real Green Lantern Fan's expect an amazing film like the new Batman ones and then you show us this. Good thing I didn't pay for my ticket!

4. Paralax's origin, okay some of it was correct the Kronos thing was but as for the rest Paralax never came around until a few years before Coast City was destroyed and it realized Hal Jordan was Fearful for the first time. IE that's where his grey and white hair streaks came from. Seriously though what were you guys thinking? And Geof Johns shame on you man you write the comics you know this stuff so for you to ruin something so precious is just plain cruel.

5. RYAN REYNOLDS as Hal Jordan, okay Reynolds is an amazing actor and I hope he's going to be Deadpool but Hal Jordan? Come on let's be real here they should have gotten Nathon Fillion or even the kid from Legend of the Seeker would have been more believable. If you want to do a younger Hal Jordan story in movie for do it right. Start with Kyle Rayner and work your way back I say. And where was Guy Gardner and John Stewart? And what were you thinking with Hector Hammond? Okay I can go on but I won't...

1.2.3.4.5. The only good thing about the Green Lantern Film was Mark Strong as Sinestro the way he portrayed him and the very end of the film were great. So let's put this one up there with Superman Returns, not enough effort millions on effects and the only good part was one character, particular the villain in both. Now my rant is complete, also check this out if you want to see real effort and energy from someone that cares about film! http://igg.me/p/229609

@theunholy
well it sends like you never really gave the movie a chance to begin with if youre complaining that its hal instead of scott. now it wasnt really as good as i was hoping either but your reasons arent very good. it was just a poorly written movie that really lacked in the combat department. youre just mad they didnt have what you liked. review the movie for what it is, not for what you wanted

This is another to add to the list of "why even bother with this film anyway?" in my opinion. The first one sucked and I don't think anyone really cared, did they? I didn't. Waste of money.

Damn, I just noticted. FOX has a bad rep for making bad/watered down CBMS AND Video game movies.smh

I prey that one day, Hollywood will treat these movies based on video games with respect. Look what they did to Resident Evil.

I think I'll be nervous if they ever try to make a live action Dead Space movie.

honestly and this is just my opinion if they cant get the voice right its definitely going to be disappointing for me because 47s voice is the one thing that stands out almost throughout the games hes supposed to be concealed in darkness but his voice is amazing
