Following her breakout role as Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, 23-year-old Daisy Ridley may help breath life into another dormant franchise, as Deadline reports that she's on Warner Bros. and MGM's radar to star as Lara Croft in the planned reboot of Tomb Raider.
Apparently talks have taken place but its far from a done deal, as the studio has met with other young actresses for the role.
Norwegian filmmaker Roar Uthaug will helm the video game adaptation, and it was recently confirmed that his film would be based on the plot of Square Enix 2013 version which followed Croft on her first adventure.
Tomb Raider doesn't have an official release date yet.
