If you game on PC or either current gen console (XBox One or PS4) you'll be happy to know that tech company NVIDIA has revealed the impressive graphical features of Batman: Arkham Knight as well as other titles like Assassin's Creed: Unity, Far Cry 4, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, and more.

"According to NVIDIA, Batman: Arkham Knight will support Turbulence, Environmental PhysX, Volumetric Lights, FaceWorks and Rain Effects. Project CARS on the other hand will come with DX11, Turbulence, PhysX Particles, and Enhanced 4K support."

NVIDIA GameWorks™ pushes the limits of gaming by providing a more interactive and cinematic game experience and thus enabling next gen gaming for current games.

  • Turbulence High definition smoke and fog with physical interaction as well as supernatural effects
  • PhysX Scalable multi-platform game physics solution supporting a wide range of devices, from smartphones to high-end multicore CPUs and GPUs
  • Clothing Quickly generate dynamic clothing. Artist focused with intuitive and easy authoring tools
  • Destruction Enables artists to quickly generate pervasive destruction significantly enhancing the gaming experience
  • Particles & Fluids Particles enable artists to easily provide a much more immersive environment by using physical particles which can interact e.g. with wind and explosion force fields. Particles can also be used to simulate fluids
  • FaceWorks Library for implementing high-quality skin and eye shading
  • WaveWorks Cinematic-quality ocean simulation for interactive applications
  • HairWorks Enabling simulation and rendering of fur, hair and anything with fibers

If this were a gaming site, the comments would be filled with the phrase, "PC Master Race!!!!111"

GuardianAngel - Maybe jokingly, there are a minority of PC elitists that say that but don't take their words seriously. No gaming community or ANY community should be generalized because of a small minority of idiots that can't keep their mouths shut.

But PC is best. ;P

j/k Seriously though, I need to build a new gaming rig. My old one is starting to lag behind some of the new games.

It's better than PS3 and Xbox 360 but not quite as great as PS4 and Xbox One. It's like one version or two versions behind it... LOL

So yeah, that's kinda sad. But I'm saving up now, hopefully I can have my new one built before this game comes out.

Android? - ANDROID?.....

How the frick can they be serious about Android when their reasoning for not including PS3 or XBOX360 as formats was that the game-world was too big!.

@GodButcher:

I have just returned an Asus very similar that because of build quality issues and got a full refund. I'm waiting till Win10 and the GTX980's are in mid-to-top end laptops because the maxwell architecture on the chipset means the performance increase is like 35% and the power saving up to nearly 50%. It's gonna make a real difference.
Anyone with the top 780ti card should be fine, everything else will benefit from an upgrade.
