Did'ya Know? Wonder Woman is not the first DC Character that Adrianne Palicki portrayed
We already know that Adrianne Palicki is the new Wonder Woman but do you know about the other two?
Again if you are anything like LEEE you pretty much have known this. =)
So, aside from Wonder Woman which DC Characters have Adrianne Palicki played?
1. Kara (Powergirl?)
It might not be explicitly stated in the show but like many things in Smallville where they altered many of Superman's mythos, this could have been there take on Powergirl's origin. The character appeared in season 3 of the show, where there's not many DC characters introduced yet. When she first came out, she was thought to be Supergirl, with the name Kara, but Kara is also Powergirl's name (seeing that Supergirl and Powergirl is just basically the same character just from different realities). The show's Kara possesses Kryptonian powers and abilities, and she wore a white shirt for most of the episode, Power Girl's main outfit is mostly a white suit (basing on Smallville's practice of letting Clark wear blue or red, I think this could be a clue on who they based Kara from).
2. Siren
The second one was in the Aquaman pilot that was not picked up by the CW network. Adrianne played an obscure comicbook character named Siren. She was the villain in that TV movie and shown to be the one responsible for the death of Aquaman's mother. The comicbook character that she was based on does not have any prominent roles in the comics, aside from being a member in Vandal Savage's group, Tartarus.
So, there you go, if you have known this before then congratulations, you're a bigger geek than me. =)
I just want to say that I think Adrianne looks pretty, and in time who knows she'll be a great Wonder Woman. I remember to have fancasted her for the role of WW before. So, I'm happy that one of my fancast became true.
This is the 4th article in my Didya Know? series. Any requests and suggestions for an article for this series write it down in the comment section BELOW.
Note: Due to the nature of comicbooks being an on-going tale, the character's powers along with his appearance, is in a constant state of flux.
