Fans have been wondering which comic book baddie Wonder Woman would be going up against in her solo movie outing, and now we might just have the identities of not 1 but 2 VERY powerful villains that are bound to cause all sorts of problems for the Amazonian Princess - plus, we might know the actors that are on Warner Bros.' radar to play them.

Heroic Hollywood's El Mayimbe just appeared on the Source Fed Nerd YouTube show and dropped the following info: According to him, Sean Bean (Game Of Thrones, Lord Of The Rings, Jupiter Ascending, Troy) is looking to add yet another legendary Greek character to his repertoire, as he's being looked at for the role of Ares, the God of War. Plus, none other than Eva Green (300: Rise Of An Empire, Dark Shadows, Casino Royale) is wanted to play long-time Wondy foe, Circe the Sorceress. Fans of Green's work on Showtime's Penny Dreadful will be well aware of what she could potentially bring to that role.

Pretty great choices for those characters I'm sure you'll agree, but of course until we hear a bit more about this we'll have to treat it as a rumor. Would you be happy with those particular villains? Sound off below.

I'm gonna keep this in the grain of salt pile for a bit. Fancastings almost never pan out, so I'd say Eva Green WON'T be Circe. Sean Bean for Ares? Again, wait and see. Umberto does not have a good record at all when it comes to DC castings, so I'll wait for a more credible source.

NO, PLEASE NO! I'm sick of Sean bean and eva green being typecast as villians. Even eva green says she's sick of it. Give her something different and new. I'm not a against her ever playing a villain again, but I don't want her 300 character all over again....seems like DC wants that. Like Mamoa is just underwater Khal Drogo etc.

These are such obvious choices that this reeks of fan casting. That said, they are also very good choices. Sean Bean hasn't played a villain in a while, but he was excellent in GoldenEye and Patriot Games, so bring it on! And Eva Green is perfection.

@yonny616 Im not familiar with Camelot but even her penny dreadful character is a sorceress....300 was all i could think of at the moment. Her 300 character is still an ancient world villainess like Circe, thats one attribute the share. She's one of my faves actresses and I don't want to see her get caught in the neverending spiral of playing villianess after villainess.. sorceress after sorceress. Mamoa is a one dimensional actor. His descriptions of hid aquaman sound just like khal.
