EW has debuted some new Wonder Woman concept art as part of their huge summer preview, and it focuses on the moment Diana decides to debut her superhero armor and step onto the battlefield in order to save innocent lives.

After leaving her home of Themyscira in order to better understand the world of man, Diana finds herself caught up in a battle between English and German troops. Though she's told not get get involved, the evil plan hatched by German general Erich Ludendorff (Danny Huston) leads Diana to believe that Ares must be involved, and decides to step in - becoming Wonder Woman at that very moment.

Though Diana has been told she can’t cross [no-man's-land] and must play by man’s rules, she takes it upon herself to save women and children threatened by the Germans. “It’s a very powerful moment,” Gadot says. “We have a character committing to her true self, doing what she believes needs to be done.”

Looks great. There's some great feminist moments in the trailers so I hope this won't be as problematic as the horribly white-washed Ghost in the Shell.

@PeteTheFeminist - I actually enjoyed GITS quite a bit more than I expected. I don't give a shit of the role should have went to an Asian actress, because Scarjo was great.

@RorMachine - I'm glad you did. It's just the anime is so much better but that's just me.

@PeteTheFeminist -

The "white washing" wasn't the problem, it was ScarJo. She sucks swamp ass.
