Wonder Woman, led by Gal Gadot and directed by Patty Jenkins, hits theaters next month (June 2nd) and DC Collectibles has three movie-themed Wonder Woman statues that are being released later this month to celebrate. DC Entertainment was kind enough to send us the Wonder Woman Movie Training Outfit statue to unbox, review and share with the CBM community!

The statue looks amazing and just like Gal Gadot! Standing at over a foot tall it's a decent sized piece and the Wonder Woman "W" base is pretty heavy duty, so you shouldn't have to worry about her falling over. Each piece is limited to 5,000 units, which is nice for collectors. The other nice thing about this piece by DC Collectibles is that it's something different from your typical Wonder Woman statue in her red and blue garb. It's nice to have something different.

At $150 MSRP it's reasonably priced for a collectible of this size and quality. I highly recommend it for Wonder Woman fans and collectors.

Highlights include:
  • Diana in her training attire holding the Lasso of Truth
  • 1:6 scale (12.46")
  • Sculpted by James Marsano
  • PolyResin
  • MSRP: $150.00

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers...and her true destiny.

Wonder Woman is directed by Patty Jenkins and stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Robin Wright as General Antiope, Danny Huston as General Erich Ludendorff, Elena Anaya as Maru/Doctor Poison, Lucy Davis as Etta Candy, Saïd Taghmaoui as Sameer, Ewan Bremner as Charlie, David Thewlis as Ares/Sir Patrick Morgan, Eugene Brave Rock as Chief, Lisa Loven Kongsli as Menalippe, Mayling Ng as Orana, Florence Kasumba as Senator Acanthi, Madeleine Vall as Egeria, Ann Wolfe as Orana, Doutzen Kroes in an undisclosed role, Samantha Jo as Euboea

The Affleck version will have a detachable frown and underneath, the base will be inscribed 'Project Alimony'.

Not a bad likeness tbh, and reasonably priced! (take not HotToys) - it's a little bit of a shame the paint for the skin is a little too uniform as it makes her look like she's porcelein-skinned.
