Happy #NationalSuperheroDay! To celebrate, the official Wonder Woman UK Twitter account has announced that tickets for the film are now available for pre-booking.

Plus, following last night's TV spots, we have a new image of Gal Gadot as Diana on the cover of a special Wonder Woman-themed edition of Entertainment Weekly that should be hitting news stands very soon, if it hasn't already. It's not the best quality, but we'll update with a hi-res version ASAP.

Looks like promotion is now set to kick into overdrive for Wondy's first solo big-screen adventure. You guys excited? Sound off below.

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

Wonder Woman also stars Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, and Lucy Davis. Directed by Patty Jenkins, the movie is set for release on June 2nd, 2017.

@RevanOfKrypton - I did something similar for Suicide Squad (saw it 3 times in 5 days), because of the hype.

I am probably never doing this for a DC film again :)

@kylo0607 - Suicide Squad i saw it twice too but the second time I wasn't that trilled... and the third time (on BlueRay) i had no feeling at all lol more like meh... it's a movie that I'll be fine to watch one time a year only..

SS had no story and the villain was bad (should've been the Joker only..). Wonder Woman doesn't look at all like Suicide Squad... it looks more focused and the story is probably better too.... So I'm more confident that I'll love it.

@RevanOfKrypton - Hope you do :) I will always have one in mind before seeing a DC film. Hope they have learned this time.
