Hugh Jackman Says The Wolverine 2 Wheels Are A Turning!

Let's hope this time around they spend a little more time on the special effects and a little less time on the movies creative writing.

Hugh Jackman accepted the Teen Choice Award for Best action/adventure film this past weekend. While he accepted the award Jackman states:

"Who knows, maybe Wolverine will use one of these when he heads to Japan," Jackman told the crowd, holding up the surfboard that served as the award. "See you next time around!"



While back stage Hugh Jackmen commented further:

"The 'going to Japan' was pretty serious, the 'using the surfboard' was not. Not a lot of surfing in Japan," laughed Jackman.
Many thanks to MTV for providing the above video.

Hopefully they do have the story for Wolverine 2 set in Japan. That way they won't have the opportunity (except for Lady Deathstrike)to mess up any of the other X-Men. It would be nice to see a Wolverine film about only Wolverine.

I personally wouldn't want to see the brown and orange spandex suit on screen :@ it would make the film childish....

I mean I can't imagine hugh jackman in spandex (as cyclops stated in X1)

If they went with something like the suit he wears in X Force at the moment it could look ok..but then you would still have the fanboys screaming for the yellow spandex!

I liked Origins as many of you know! I thought parts of it sucked though so hopefully the sequel steps up. I don't think Gavin Hood is the man for the job.

If we do see Sunfire what version of his costume would everyone like to see? I vote the Age Of Apocalypse look. I love how it looks like armor.

Anil I'd love to see Omega Red in one of these movies. He was definetly one of the coolest Wolvie/X-Men bad guys in the 90's.

You know...if there is to be a few cameos, why not Elektra? She has ties there and to Wolverine. And isn't the Daredevil property still Fox as well? I'd like to see that...just not Jennifer Garner. Could open the door to a new Daredevil movie...

yeah but with all the other mutants around him. I want a Wolverine movie with one other mutant, also FOX, please dont screw up the source material. Please!!! Its not hard to take material that has worked for years and translate that to the silver screen. Has everyone voted yet on the above poll?

well in my opinion... I think it is another ploy to get more characters in there... probably somehow have daken show up at the end of the movie and be all angry... and be able to bring it to present times... I dunno they have some many freaking options in the x-men universe...

I use to like the old yellow and black and orange and brown suit...

But I think the one that will pull it all off is Logans new "X_FORCE" black and grey suit.

The mask is different and if they cut the points down (even tho i like it) it will seem more realistic vs comicbookish.

If he gets trained by ninjas and dones a costume this can explain his suit.

the way they illustrate Wolverine in this series remind me of the Rob Liefields knock off wolverine named Deadlock...a dead villian working for the government.
