X2 took first place again with an estimated $41.4 million this weekend from 3,748 theaters for an impressive average of $11,045. The figure is a 51.6% drop from last weekend's earnings. The mutant sequel has earned $149,045,000 after 10 days and now stands at #106 on the all-time domestic blockbuster list.
Second place belonged to the new Eddie Murphy comedy, "Daddy Day Care", which opened strong with $27.6 million from 3,370 theaters.
