DIE HARD 5 Set Videos Feature A Bloodied Bruce Willis, Explosions & Car Stunts

A Good Day to Die Hard has been filming in Budapest for the past few months and I've gathered some of the more interesting videos. Come check out John McClane and his son (Jai Courtney) covered in blood and debris.

Over the past few months Budapest has been transformed into Moscow for the filming of A Good Day to Die Hard. In the first video below you can actually see some real footage because the camera man was smart enough to zoom in on the monitor several times. Nothing too revealing but you do see Bruce Willis and Jai Courtney stumbling through the streets of Moscow after a large explosion. Debris is flying all around them and both of their heads are covered in blood.

EXPLOSION!

CAR CRASHES & STUNTS!

SCENE: WATER CANONS USED ON PROTESTERS

A Good Day to Die Hard puts McClane on an international stage, truly a NYC fish out of water in Moscow, and introduces his estranged son Jack (Jai Courtney). An apple that has not fallen far from the tree, Jack may even be more of a hardass than his father. Despite their differences, they must work together to keep each other alive and keep the world safe for democracy.

The last one "technically" had an R-rated cut, but it was literally a few F-words given to Willis as his head was turned away from camera.

I dont like that its being written by the guy that did A-Team, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and Rise of Cobra...And its being directed by the same guy that did Max Payne...Im a bit worried

More than I care about it being rated "R" I hope this one is kick-ass with a decent story to boost. Unlike the last one which was suck ass than anything else.

Well at least compared to the originals. Quality film making is more important than the vulgarity and any level of crudeness.

@FightAs0ne If any those facts are true I don't know how this movie can turn out well.

I officially have no expatiations of this movie being other then it being bad.

I hope for the best though.

@FightasOne:In Bruce Willis I Trust... He has a major say in what goes down in the flick. If he doesn't think it feels like a proper Die Hard movie, then it doesn't happen...

Love all the Die Hard Movies - Even 'With a Vengence' is strangely enjoyable.

Live free was great, although Olyphantastic had one of the most boring personalities of any movie villain.

And Michael Scott was right in saying that in the first movie, McClane's just in the wrong place at the wrong time, he cuts his feet, and tries to survive - in the last movie he surfs on the wing of a jet.

I don't think this is really that necessary. The last one could've been a good ending for the franchise. I guess this is better than a reboot though.

What's the hate over the last one? It was [frick]ing awesome and very much in the vein of the rest of the series... but wait... it wasn't rated R. Get over it bitches. I was a great script, an awesome and sturdy plot, Willis owned the role of McClane once again, the action was top shelf, the story original. So what was it? You people have nothing. Just mad it wasn't rated-R, that's all I'm getting from you.

What happened to the guy who almost died trying to save one building full of hostages?

Yeah Rated-R movie this time please.

I also hope Patrick Stewart is the main bad guy beside this Sebastian Koch guy like rumored.

The fourth movie was decent but it wasnt nothing beside the first, second and third.

Just checked it out.
Cole Hauser, Sebastian Koch and russian actress/model Yuliya Snigir are playing the bad guys.

So no Stewart!:(

I live in Budapest and I was lucky to visit the set a few times now. They're doing a lot of action scenes and there's a lot of shooting and blasting..like in a good die hard movie:) Here's Bruce with the Mayor of Budapest:

Willis had said he wants to make a sixth Die Hard too before finally hanging up the role.

I only like Die Hard 1, the sequels were enjoyable but got too ridiculous. I'll see this just because I've seen the others whether it's good or not.

The last one was shite and truly jumped the shark, no McTiernan or Kamen = not Die Hard.

Die Hard 4.0 or whatever the hell it was named was quite average. Great action sequences though. Jai Courtney was cool in Spartacus. Now he looks like a combination of Travolta and Willis...

I hope this movie turns out great. I thought the last one was a good action, but it didn't feel like a Die Hard movie to me. I kind of feel like going back and watching it to give it another chance.

I also felt like one of the weak points of LFODH was Timothy Olyphant. I think he is a good actor. He was underwhelming as the villain in the movie though.

1. Die Hard
2. Die Hard with a Vengeance
3. Die Hard 2(underrated IMO)
4. Live Free or Die Hard

@AlexDeLarge I remember reading that too. I hope they scale back the sixth movie. Taking it international is a bit of a risk for the series. I wouldn't mind seeing Holly come back either.

I think that the problem with these movies now is that he doesn't have a black foil. It's time to bring that back.

I really hope this one is rated R and is better than the last one. I thought Live Free or Die Hard was one of the stupidest action movies every made with the president speech terror threat, the nerd basement scene and the part where he jumps on top of the plane from the bridge. The original was the best by far because it was the most believable. I hope the new one follows the first one's footsteps.
