The folks at Ain't It Cool News had receive a note saying that Tom Hardy had an interview on the UK Alan Carr Tv show, and he said that he has signed for more Inception movies!

Hi Harry.

Hope you are feeling better mate

Tom hardy has just finished a tv interview on uk tv show Alan Carr chatty man. Not a great interview, but did give some nice little nuggets

Firstly he mentioned that he is signed for further inception movies. He was not sure if it would happen, but is signed up for it.

He also quickly talked about his role in the new batman movie. A picture was shown to the tv audience of Bain from the joel schumacher Batman and Robin. He made a point if saying Chris Nolans Bain would be a non-gimp mask wearing villain. He also mentioned he had 3 months to bulk up from is current frame of 12 stone to 14 stone to start filming in may.

As I said not much, but still interesting

Keep up the good work, from and old school reader

it's common practice in Hollywood nowadays to sign on for more than one film especially those with possible franchise potential.

@BlackWidow/Gaston you two seriously made me laugh. :P
Anyways, I think Inception didn't feel very open for a sequel. But if they do release a sequel or two, then BRING IT ON!

people need to relax he said he signed a deal for a sequel which pretty much happens with any big summer flick, but doesn't necessarily mean theres going to be a sequel.

Inception sequel? I seriously doubt Nolan would actually do that. Maybe the deal was for any movie in the near future that WB can put Hardy in.

Nolan has already said that inception is a one movie no sequels. But he has said he wants to do a video game

He said he signed on just in case. could be ten years for now but i doubt Nolan will do any sequels.

also Bane might not be wearing gimp-mask but he could still be wearing a mask...just a Nolanized version of it

Jer3miah, don't worry. When asked if he'd be wearing a mask, Hardy paused cause he didn't want to get in trouble and just said "Maybe if I feel like it". The character will already be stripped of most of the things that make Bane, Bane, once he's Nolanized. If the mask is taken away there will be nothing left to distinguish the character at all.

He never said bane wouldn't have a mask...just when asked about a gimp mask jokingly by alan carr he paused and said "maybe if i feel like it", he's on a contract not to let anything slip...doesn't confirm bane won't have a mask...unlikely he wouldn't.

Hell yes to an Inception sequel. The first was excellent and more would be fantastic. Why the hell do people keep saying it 'doesn't need a sequel'? What does that even mean? The film didn't 'need' to be made in the first place. I'd be much more excited about a new Inception than I would be about a new Batman.

@jerry23

No, that's not true. Nolan never said that Inception was a one-off stand-alone film. He has specifically stated that he has not ruled out the possibility of more Inception films.

@NeoBaggins: Ehh, I suppose you're right. That would make sense. Thanks for puttin' that element into perspective. You, sir, Succeed. *thumbs up*
