Mad Max: fury road has just been released in theaters and has been generating a lot of buzz. It has been called "one of the best films of the year" by many critics and fans. The film is even getting higher praise than Marvel's "Avengers: age of Ultron". Over the past few weeks, dozens of fans have gone to Twitter to ask NECA if they plan to make figures based on the film. Unfortunately, NECA has responded by saying that they don't have the license to make those figures. Even more unfortunate, is that NECA has said that they'd loved to make figures from the film.

The petition has gained over 200 signatures since it began four weeks ago. It has been slowly gaining momentum all over social media, including but not limited to: Twitter, Facebook, reddit, tumblr, and several others. The petition has been to spread all over the world, ranging from the U.S. to the Middle-East. If you're like me, and you love Mad Max, head over to Change.org and sign the petition.

The only figures of NECA's I've had problems with are the early predators figures.

Neca is pretty good. I really like their Devil May Cry and Street Fighter figs. But I am a complete articulation whore. Once I delved into Revoltech and Figma, it's really hard going back to these arguably half-assed figures.

Why are people focusing more on the avengers comment than the actual article?
