For those of you that have been dying to ride shiny and chrome yet again, you finally have the chance!

Refocused Media has discovered an Amazon Germany product page for the 'Mad Max: High Octane Collection', a six disc box set of the entire Mad Max series including tons of special features. The big reveal is that the page also tells that the box set will include the 'Black and Chrome Edition'.

The fabled 'Black and Chrome Edition' was hitned at long ago during the post production of Fury Road when director George Miller revealed that he believed the film to be at its very best when it had all of its color removed. There was talk of having the black and white version on the original blu-ray release, but most people were disspointed to see that it was not included.

The movie will also only have the film's composer, Junkie XL's, score playing and will have all the dialouge tracks removed.

Currently, the collection is merely available for pre-order and only in Germany. The box set is due out September 29th.

the color scheme was a big part of why the movie was so visually beautiful. I do not get the appeal of making it black and white.

If you REALLY want to buy this, don't waste your money. Just mess with the settings on your TV, make it black and white, pop in FuryRoad. There.

@Quicker - the only thing that would be different would be that the B&W edition doesn't have dialogue

Although it would seem the color was something that made the original great, I think a "Black and Chrome" edition would kind of give it a grainy and old feel. I like it.

Any modern tv can easily make the picture black and white.

Well turn down your colour on your TV and you've got black Mad Max:Fury Road. You could do the same with The Walking Dead and it would be just like the comic books.

The cinematography and bright colors are some of the best parts of this movie. Why would you want it in black and white?
