MAD MAX: FURY ROAD Director George Miller Is Reportedly Suing Warner Bros. For Unpaid Earnings

Yeah... we can probably forget about George Miller helming a DC superhero flick for Warner Bros., as the Mad Max: Fury Road director is reportedly suing the studio for unpaid bonuses. More past the jump...

Despite assurances that they are in the planning stages, we've yet to hear anything official regarding George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road sequels, and now we may know why.

The director's production company (Kennedy Miller Marshall) is reportedly in the process of suing Warner Bros. for what they claim is $7M in unpaid Fury Road bonuses that they were supposed to recieve if they managed to bring the filmn in under-budget (full details here).

The studio issued the following short response: "We disagree and will vigorously defend against these claims."

Miller confirmed that he had discussed the possibility of helming a DC movie for WB shortly after the release of Fury Road, but this obviously cuts the likelihood of that happening considerably. It could also spell the end for any future Mad Max adventures.
