Could we get to see an animated version of World War Hulk in the near future?

The Paley Centers in both Los Angeles and New York City were filled Thursday night for the bi-coastal premiere of the "Planet Hulk" DVD.

Word of mouth is that the "Planet Hulk" DVD is not an exact retelling of the comics. We have already had some indication of this, due to the previously reported Silver Surfer to Beta Ray Bill swap out.



Fans were allowed to ask questions after the show. Of course the questioning turned to the possibility of a "WORLD WAR HULK" animated movie.

This is what writer Greg Pak had to say on the issue of "World War Hulk."

Regarding a “World War Hulk” adaptation, Pak revealed, “We [Rollman and Pak] were just talking about that. And I’d love it if he gave me a crack at the ‘World War Hulk’ screenplay!”

What do you think the odds are that we get a "World War Hulk" animated feature?

By the sounds of it, PLANET HULK is already [frick]ing up not having SILVER SURFER in it!!

I'd rather a SECRET WARS animated movie ([frick]ING HELL YEAH), than a WORLD WAR HULK, heck i wanna see a CIVIL WAR animated too, an INFINITY GAUNTLET all epic needed animated's!!!

I would want to see a WWH but i would rather see a marvel civil war, marvel doesn't own so many of there characters though so it would be full of the C class heroes.

@Hawkblueyes - The Saints got lucky they played the ever forgiving Cardinals saturday, they won't make it..

But, this is some BA news.. I enjoyed the WWH arc, and it's one of my favorites..

Minotauro: Believe that if you like, you will just be wrong. The Saints have had major injuries the last 6 weeks of the regular season. Before that, they played every game like they did last night. They are completely healthy again.

Dogs: I believe it comes out Feb.2nd .

Hulk fought wolverine in the last DVD so I'm not sure the copyright applies to animated features.

I just hope it's a good quality animation I've enjoyed most of the others. There's no reason they couldn't do a whole crossover run linking them all together somehow.

Well, @Hawks The saints are pretty good, or I mean damn good.. But, I gotta go with the vikes.. I want Adrian Peterson to win the trophy more than bush.. But, that is just the way I look at it..

Minotauro: I hear ya. I'm a lifelong Saints fan and I do believe the NFC championship is going to be better than the Superbowl. I wouldn't bet either way.

I will say though, that whoever wins the NFC, Vikes or Saints will walk away with the Superbowl.

They are the best two teams in football.

I a gonna be honest, I thought that the Surfer being in the Hulk comic was stupid I would have much rather seen Beta Ray Bill anyway. I think they should stop fooling around and give us Secret Wars and Infinity Gauntlet already.

i hope they have a World war hulk animated dvd but i agree with you SoulAllFlush ya gotta have all characters right to do it properly ya got Disney backing you now to hell with Sony and Fox get the rights back and make Marvel movie magic
