Marvel has released a new promo image of its upcoming Avengers Assemble animated series. Premiering July 7th:

Official Show description: "Marvel's Avengers Assemble" reunites the most popular super hero team -- Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye and Black Widow, along with newcomer Falcon, marking the first time in animation history this distinct team of heroes will join forces. Led by Iron Man, the heroes train and live together in their new headquarters in Avengers Tower. The planet's most dangerous villains don't stand a chance when the Avengers assemble - whether they are stopping Dr. Doom from conquering Asgard, Attuma driving the Atlantean Army into New York City or Dracula unleashing vampire hordes, the Avengers must work together to succeed."

Hulk and the Agents of SMASH will debut on August 11th. Below is the new promo image for the show:

Official show description: In "Marvel's Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.," Hulk has long fought alone to protect a world that sees him as a monster, but his friend Rick Jones has taken it upon himself to film the world-saving exploits of Big Green and his team to change that image. In this never before seen team up of Hulk, his cousin She-Hulk, A-Bomb, Red Hulk and Skaar, Marvel's mightiest super heroes form an eccentric family living under one roof, working together to tackle threats that are too enormous for other heroes to handle. From trying to house break their giant red pet T-Rex to stopping Ego the Living Planet from crashing into the Earth, the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. must learn to balance Hulk-sized action with everyday family-sized problems.

Soooo are they planning on introducing Falcon as an Avengers member in the sequel?

Spidey91 - 3/8/2013, 10:34 AM
is that really how Avengers Assemble is going to look? I like it,but that art style must be really expensive to animate.

Looking forward to Avengers Assemble. The synopsis for Hulk and the Agents of smash sounds stupid.

At least the costumes are cool, but Cap has to be the leader
Guardsman
Guardsman - 3/8/2013, 10:42 AM
Cap wasn't always the leader. In the early Avengers comics, they used to rotate leadership; sometimes Iron Man, sometimes Thor, sometimes Cap, etc.

Huh, didn't know they were adding a token black character.

Hulk and the Agents of Smash sounds like a porn title from the 70's.

Hulk looks exactly like a mixture between Ultimate Spider-Man and Ben10.

@Spidey91

u cant include Ultimate Spiderman when their is Nick Fury in the show.

Young Justice also introduce more black characters in the show i.e. Rocket, Icon, Static etc.
Spidey91
Spidey91 - 3/8/2013, 11:28 AM
@jazzman

well,Ultimate Nick Fury is a given in any MARVEL cartoon nowadays. and Aqualad was there since the beginning of YJ,he was the token black guy, even if the character roster eventually expanded :P

CAP NEEDS TO BE LEADER

Yeah, I don't get Marvel animations insistence in making Cap subordinate.
Mechagino

Thought so.

Jeph Lied to us and Avengers Assemble sounds like a new series that's a reboot and EMHs will be forgotten. Granted that description sounds cool like the Dracula part but the point still stands regardless of how silly it is to be mad over a cartoon: Jeph Loeb lied to us and for that we've got more hate directed at him. If its ANYTHING like season one of ultimate spiderman, then I am full of DISSAPOINT.

Hulk's series... I thought The Avengers were Marvel's Mightiest heroes.

But yeah, I'm being cautious with this one and it's description. I mean it's AWESOME that Devil Dinosaur is making an appearance in Animation form finally but I don't like the description of what they're doing with him and it sounds a lot like Ultimate Spider-Man. If it's good, it's good but if it's shit then it's shit. I will say I like Clancy and Seth working on the show.

I DO like the art for AA. But Hulk/Smash looks pretty terrible. Is he wearing baby blue spandex...
neonhero
neonhero - 3/8/2013, 2:25 PM
Hulk's show looks ugly. Doubtful that's the style for Avengers, but we can only dream.

AA will not be a 'continuation' of A:EMH. Loeb was just trying to appease fanboys. It's already been stated that AA and Ultimate Spider-Man will share continuity, and US has established young Luke Cage and Iron Fist, which we saw as full-fledged adults in A:EMH. So...not the same.

I love animation, but everything rests in the hands of the people with the money. And they want shows that sell toys, not that please a 30 year old comics fan like me...
HulkDraxGroot
HulkDraxGroot - 3/18/2013, 7:46 AM
Will give both shows a shot.

Looks like they changed the animation for AA.

"marking the first time in animation history this distinct team of heroes will join forces."

Sure, if they ignore United They Stand (no matter how stupid it is), Ultimate Avengers, Ultimate Avengers 2, and Earth's Mightiest Heroes lol.
WYLEEJAY
WYLEEJAY - 4/8/2013, 7:53 PM
United they stand didn't have Cap, Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow or Hulk on the team. Ultimate Avengers didn't have Falcon or Hawkeye in it. Neither did the second one. Falcon never joined the team in Avengers Earths Mightiest Heroes. So yeah, it is the first time in animation that these seven characters are on the same team.
