Justin Chatwin, who plays Goku in the upcoming Dragon Ball Evolution film, tells MTV news that a sequel is already written, Chatwin goes on to say:

"I know they've written a second one and it's pretty far out there. The second one really goes to some different places that I've never seen in any comic book adaptation" said the "War of the Worlds" and "The Invisible" actor.

Chatwin also includes that himself and co-star Emmy Rossum would be more then happy to reprise their roles in the planned sequel.

I think this was posted a while back but it was titled something like "Next DB film to venture out" or something like that. It was about the location.

The DragonBall: Evolution movie reall really sucked! Why in the world would they even think about a sequel? It's going to be written by the same people with their same cheesy writing. They should just start from scratch, like if this Evolution movie never happened. New characters, new plot, new villains, new everything. I suggest you guys don't waste your money on friday. The movie is gonna disappoint you. Just d/l it. :-)

i haven't seen DragonBall Evolution yet i'll probably go see it on Friday. But i think you guys might be a little to hard on it. i mean you can't be going into the movie expecting it to be exactly like the anime.

this is so stupid why spend time on a sequel when the first one isn't even out. Also the fact that he said " it goes to different places I've NEVER seen in the comic books" is not reassuring.

also donkeypuncher yes I never expected it to be exactly like the anime but it was NOTHING like it that's the problem.

They know the popularity and think this will be the bomb... Or they are getting an ear full because of the bootleg and are doing like Betty said and saying "don't go away we can do better". Like I said, I had emailed the writer and he even said mistakes were made. I for one hope for better. Better fights and effects.

I give you points Doritos... You have defended this movie but you now admit good but not great. I said that I hope those who say "haters" will admit if they didn't like it. So to you I take my hat off to you. I agree, some good parts but not great at all.
