ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: New Video Footage From The San Francisco Set Features An Exciting Car-Flip Stunt

A new video from the set of Marvel's currently shooting Ant-Man and The Wasp is now online, and though no cast members appear, we do get a teasing glimpse of what should be a very exciting car-crash stunt.

We recently got our first official look at Evangeline Lilly in her updated superhero costume for Ant-Man and The Wasp, and now we have some unofficial video footage from the set of the Marvel sequel as production continues in the Nob Hill area of San Francisco.

It's brief, but we do get to see an awesome-looking practical stunt involving a car being flipped over in the street. Though we don't have any context for what's going on in the scene, based on some pre-viz footage that screened at Asia Pop Comic-Con, the guys over at MCU Exchange reckon it might involve Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) in his Giant Man guise kicking the vehicle over.

Check it out below and let us know what you think. Hopefully we'll get a glimpse of some cast members in costume soon.

Since the best moment of Ant-man 2 was already used by Kevin Fiege in Civil War I'm excitedly interested to see what the big action set piece will be now.

@IronGenesis - An entire fight in the Quantam Realm would be mind blowing! And you can get some amazing cinematography going from Huge, to regular, to Tiny between 2 character

@Deonox - see! Perfect! By using it in civil war it forces them to get even more creative for the sequel instead of simply relying on Giant Man. :)

I would freak out if in this movie, Bill Foster was Goliath and worked with Hank and Janet during the wars

I think the first Ant-Man has a great amount of problems for which ever reason get ignored. However, it was a messy pre production, and I have a really good feeling about this one. Phase 3 just seems to be infinitely more creative and imaginative, and with Peyton, collaborating with Feige and numerous writers, for a number of years, as opposed to one month in pre, taking on a legendary film-maker's project that was already in a bit of a stump, it seems like peyton will really get a chance to show everyone what he's made out of.

@ScarletWarlock - I just want to say I liked Ant-Man, and there are some bits that are really great in the film, just overall it felt like one of their more straight forward films.

@ScarletWarlock - True about pre-production. The fact that it came out to be a very solid movie gets me even more excited about this one. The MCU is moving fast and i like it. Ant-Man and Wasp will also be Ant-Man's 4th time which is crazy to think.

@Deonox - Yeah, it just makes me wonder what a film about Ant-Man, and NOW Wasp, and now with the origin out of the way, the giant man stuff already introduced, the new Phase 3 creative quota, and now 2 years of prep with consistent writers that he can collaborate with. I just think there's a lot more potential as of now. Who knows where it will end up on the quality spectrum in Phase 3, as for me the films have been firing on all cylinders since then, so it's got a lot of competition, but i think the movie will surprise people and stand tall on its own two feet.

I've been thinking about how the mummy was gender swapped in the new mummy movie, and if that could work in other movies. I can kinda see it with Creature from the black lagoon. Imagine the Gill-woman carrying a screaming Chris Evans through its underground cave lair when suddenly Scar-Jo arrives with a harpoon gun!
