ANT-MAN AND THE WASP SPOILERS - We Have All The Details On The Much-Discussed Post-Credits Scene

It's already been revealed that Ant-Man and The Wasp will feature 2 post-credits stingers (no pun), and now we have all the details on the big one that ties into the main MCU. Major SPOILERS follow...

The highly positive reviews for Marvel's Ant-Man and The Wasp recently hit, and one of the things critics raved most about was the sequel's post-credits sequences - or more specifically, the first one.

The movie is still just over a week from release in the US, but if you want to know what goes down in that scene a little early, we have all the SPOILER-Y details below.

As expected, the stinger ties directly into the events of Avengers: Infinity War, while also setting up Avengers 4. Apparently, we see Scott heading into the Quantum Realm to help Ghost (who's a hero now). When he's ready to leave he radios Hank Pym, but there's no response because he, along with Janet and Hope, have all turned to dust as a result of Thanos snapping his fingers at the end of Infinity War.

This leaves Scott trapped, and most likely highly motivated to join what remains of Earth's Mightiest Heroes in Avengers 4.

This does sound pretty cool, but, at the same time, it's probably not that surprising. What do you guys think? Did you guess the post-credits scene would be something like this? Sound off below.

I mean - it was the only logical post-credit scene to do. Just because we all expected it, doesn't mean they shouldn't have done it. I wonder if Scott survives because he was in the Quantum Realm at the time it happens or he was just part of the other half that got to live.

@Kman - I expected one of them for sure, but not all of them, damn this hits hard.

@Kman - I was expecting it to be a happy "good guys win" ending then credit scene where Scott's hugging his daughter when back at home and then *poof*

@TheGrayGhost - oooh wow, that would've been a real bummer lol - but effective scene for sure

@Kman - Wow, I mean everyone should have a 50-50 chance, but it looks like if you are in MCU non-original avenger hero you get fooked. :-(

I knew something like this would happen (except that Ava twist), but that it actually happens is really awesome.

I haven't seen the movie yet, so can someone explain to me if Hope also dies or is just in awe because she saw here parents die in front of her?

@ExpertlyMediocr - If The Avengers 4 takes place years after Infinity War, Cassie may grow up without her father, just as Hope grew up without her mother.

least surprising post-credit scene ever. But not that that's a bad thing

@HumanPerfomance - it was more so the execution and how it was shot that made it affective. All the critics gasped on my audience. That sort of reaction is always fun in a packed theater
