ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA Funko Pops Offer A Better Look At MCU's Awesome M.O.D.O.K. Design

With Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania rapidly approaching, the first merchandise from the threequel is starting to find its way into stores, including Funko Pops that offer a better look at M.O.D.O.K.

Now Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is playing in theaters, next up is Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. There's a huge amount of excitement for the threequel, particularly as it will introduce us to Kang the Conqueror, The Multiverse Saga's big bad.

Whether that Kang Variant will be the same one that takes centre stage in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and beyond is hard to say, but he certainly looks like a formidable threat.

Thanks to some upcoming Funko Pops, the terrifying villain can now be seen in Vinyl figure form alongside both Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne. However, there's also a Pop showcasing M.O.D.O.K., a villain we've only caught glimpses of up until this point. That design is awesome, and one that pays homage to the comic books in a clever way.

The prevailing theory is that M.O.D.O.K. is Ant-Man baddie Darren Cross after he was sent into the Quantum Realm by Scott, and we have to believe he's out for revenge. After all, it looked like his journey there wasn't remotely pleasant (in fact, we'd guess every bone in his body was broken).

Scroll through the Instagram post below to check out these new Funko Pops!

In Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.

Jonathan Majors joins the adventure as Kang. Director Peyton Reed returns to direct the film; Kevin Feige and Stephen Broussard produce.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is set to be released in theaters on February 17, 2023.

@marvel72 - Based on a toy? Or have you seen the movie?...

@Variant - based on the leaks.

@McMurdo - the leaks reveal he won't die in the end. And he's evil despite a fake redemption in the 3rd act.

@Variant - There was leaked art and the toy.

@Variant - Wow, yeah because toys and art are always wrong.

Why do you think there is a spoiler warning?
Variant
Variant - 11/21/2022, 3:35 PM
@marvel72 - No one claimed they were always wrong. But they're certainly not always accurate representations of what the finished product is. So to draw a conclusion this prematurely is a bit ridiculous.

@Fares - do you think he's a robot 🤖 or something
Fares
Fares - 11/20/2022, 10:43 AM
@Vigor - I'm thinking he's so F-ed up under there that he's basically a cyborg, and a human face might not have been one of the salvageable human parts.
I could be wrong about that, but the fact that he has a nose, an open mouth and visible teeth in "robot-face" form leads me to assume that he's expressive in that form, and that he's likely going to look that way for most of the movie, if not for the entirety of it.
CorndogBurglar
CorndogBurglar - 11/20/2022, 11:25 AM
@Fares - I just get worried when they do these more outlandish characters. We saw Ego in his planet form for like 5 seconds in GotG2, and we never got to see the Supreme Intelligence's form in Captain Marvel.

It's like they want to say they did the crazy characters, yet they still pull up short on them.
Fares
Fares - 11/20/2022, 11:42 AM
@CorndogBurglar - I do admit that I myself am picky about outlandish designs. Some I'm totally for, others not so much, but I think they're all worth trying to see whether it works or not, at least behind the scenes.
I don't know what they do and don't do behind the scenes, so I won't personally call them out on it, but I'm still gonna tell them what I prefer to see.

We already know that Cross had his body disproportionately distorted at the end of the first movie, so why are you guys pretending that there won't be a giant human face behind that mask?

@DrReedRichards - because people like to refuse their common sense

@ShimmyShimmyYA -

Or! Or, or, hear me out... Maybe they like to feign disappointment when indifference no longer sells? You know, it would be kind of an oxymoron to comment that they do not care, 'cause that would rob them of the ability to negatively criticize that which they try to undermine.

But what do I know? I'm just a guy who pisses trolls off by pointing out their transparency.
