In their story on yesterday's Michael Pena casting, The Hollywood Reporter
mentioned that Marvel were also looking at the likes of Javier Bardem and Clifton Collins Jr. to fill their "tough Latino" quota for Edgar Wright's
Ant-Man. Well now, according to Latino Review's new trigger man, the latter has actually been cast alongside Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas - you'll note this infers that Pena hasn't actually signed on yet.
Obviously as sure as this young fella seems to be, until it's official it's ...not official, so take it as you will. But Collins is a fine actor and would be a great addition to any cast so I for one hope that it is true. Who might he be playing? Well we got some pretty odd sounding
information on Pena's villainous character last night, so perhaps Collins is allied with him? Guess we'll find out soon enough.
