So, how about that Ant-Man trailer, huh? Talking to USA Today in a brief interview excerpt from a feature on upcoming movie, Kevin Feige talks more about what we should expect from the movie. Apparently, we will first meet Scott Lang as he leaves prison, with him having served his time for crimes which have left him estranged from his wife and daughter (4-year-old Cassie Lang). According to the Marvel Studios President, Ant-Man is "one of the most surprisingly emotional" movies yet to be released by them, and part of what brings Scott and Hank Pym together is the fact that Pym too is seeking redemption with his daughter, Hope Van Dyne. "Hank Pym invented the Ant-Man technology, went on many adventures and is now much older and trying to recruit a new person,'' says Feige. "It's the first film we've made in which the story is about a torch being passed, essentially." What do you guys think about these latest details?

I was so unimpressed by the trailer but I know Rudd will do a good job

If nothing else, this movie is probably going to be the most personal MCU film yet. The stakes seem centered around Lang and Pym's families and them trying to get some redemption along the way. That should be refreshing.

Did you see the Ab work rudd was sporting. Robert Downey Jr. essentially became iron man at the start of his 40's and had not the bust ab or musculature to boot, but rudd is well in his mid to late 40's and is sporting more abs theb Chris Hemsworth. ..talk about devotion to getting in decent shape for a Guy of ant sized proportions

I expected a comedic trailer... but I'm happy with what we got.

I do feel like Hope Van Dyne has stakes in the company so she offers to train rudd in fighting...which is cool. He'll know some What it looks to Be MMA ant fighting style...cool

so, no British comedy like Edgar Wright had certainly on mind...

The only part about the trailer I liked was when Pym was talking about not having second chances. People still bash Pym for creating Ultron and slapping Janet when he's turned his life around in the comic books.

Other than that, the trailer was sloppy and for a first impression (besides the Edgar Wright test footage), it was a big meh.

How exactly did no one know of Ant-Man if he went on "many adventures."

I hope DC is taking notes. This is how the Masters market a movie

Also, they're setting the template for new actors taking the characters' role as time ends and contracts move forward. Wouldn't be surprised if Cap3 does this with Bucky as well.

Wonder how Wright's extended involvement would've been reflected in the first trailer...probably better

This pretty much confirms that we'll see Antman and maybe Wasp having action scenes in the 60s flashback, also Peggy Carter is involved with it too(which their explaining on her show).

I remember when people said the first GOTG trailer sucked, and predicted it would be a huge flop. Wonder how that turned out.

I think it's because he's Ant-Man, he might be hard to see without a magnifying glass

Flashbacks like Watchmen would be great. To see Pym falling apart and eventually Janet's death near the end.

But no actors have been cast, so...

Like what Nick fury said to Tony Stark at the end credits of iron man 1

"You think you're the first superhero?"

These "opinionated negative clowns" haven't learned their lesson. This website is such a small universe. All the negativity generated here pretty much stays here in isn't seen by the real paying moviegoers. It's like spitting into the wind, not very bright.
