Actor Nathan Fillion has officially taken himself out the running (again) to star in Marvel's
Ant-Man movie, per a comment in a recent interview with IGN.
"IGN: It's really interesting, because it is so consistent. We tweeted out that we were coming here today and of course the first question that was asked was, 'Will he be Ant-Man?'
Fillion: [Laughs] I will not be playing Ant-Man. I'm pretty booked-up right now as far as work goes and there's so much more going on in the entertainment industry than just, 'Oh, you know who would be great in that?' There's a lot more that comes into play. There's a lot of variables that a fan does not have to concern themselves with. If they want to see a movie and they want that actor, they're not thinking about the variables that come into play. But there are a lot of variables that don't make it a real possibility."
So there you have it. Fillion says he will not be in
Ant-Man (again). The actor specifically says it is due to his commitment to the television show
Castle, which only gives him two months off per year to relax, go on vacation and spend time with his family.
So who's the next actor on the list to be Ant-Man? Comment below.
