When Marvel Studios announced their "Phase Two" plans at the San Diego Comic-Con last week, comic book movie lovers were left with an awful lot to look forward to. Whether it's Edgar Wright's take on Ant-Man, the big screen debut of the Guardians of the Galaxy or Ben Kingsley as The Mandarin in Iron Man 3, there's numerous reasons why any one of the five movies listed above has the potential to become another instant classic in the eyes of fans. As you can see below, the results were all reasonably close (apart from Thor: The Dark World; any particular reason why?!) but the Russo Brothers take on Ed Brubaker's 'The Winter Soldier' clearly has you most excited. Check out the results below and sound off with your thoughts in the usual place!

Thor 2 should get more votes; it's probably the most important Phase 2 film.

Wow, Ant-Man beat Thor 2 and Iron Man 3?!?!? I'm sorry, but there's a reason why it has taken so long for an Ant-Man movie to be made. Ant-Man [frick]ing sucks, there's no sugarcoating it. He can shrink down and talk to ants that's it, at least Aquaman has super strength and super speed. I love Stan Lee as much as the next guy, but not all of his creations were home runs.

They're pretty even for me, but Iron Man 3 might be slightly above the rest.

I'm excited for all of them, for different reasons. But if I had to choose which I was most excited for?

1. GOTG
2. Ant-Man
3. Captain America: The Winter Soldier
4. Thor: The Dark World
3. Iron Man 3

Why? Well, I think I actually am excited for each of them in a lot of ways the same, but I think I am more excited for GOTG and Ant-Man most of all because it's something different we've never seen before on screen. :)

Guardians for me. ...we'll get to see another team dynamic besides the Avengers. I think it will be fun.

soberchimera61 Have you ever read a an Ant-Man comic my friend? If not don't judge. I respect your opinion but if you have not read anything and are just making wild statements it is stupid.

I'm interested in them all. I just hope they're not so concerned with the big picture that the individual movies don't feel impressive enough. I don't want Thor 2 and Cap 2 to feel like Iron Man 2.

What makes you say that, Reasonnnn? In regards to Thanos, wouldn't Guardians be the most important since it develops the MCU's heavier sci-fi elements?

GOTG. By far. Pretty ambitous move by marvel.

I'm beginning not to care so much for all these marvel films..
I got so hyped for MOS that another ironman or thor will just end up being..
Meh. I love marvek but Considering how weak Thor and cap was..
I just hope these films are great and I hope they don't spurt out films as quick as they can just to keep up with phase 2.. with a mediocre & tolerable story..

I was looking most foward to Thor, but then Mads Mikkelsen dropped out. I don't know the story of the Winter Soldier, so don't know how awesome it is, therefor my choice were between GOTG or Iron Man 3... I took GOTG since i can't wait to see how they are going to handle that in a believable way :)

I would probably say Captain America 2 because I loved the first one and I also love Winter Soldier. Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 I am not too excited for because they kind of have crappy villains (with the exception of Loki for Thor but he has already been used).

The Hobbit then the Man of Steel are the next movies I am truly psyched about.

Oh it's most definitely Captain America: The Winter Soldier for me. Best source material for Phase II. If the Russo brothers don't screw it up.

@superotherside Yes I have, Stan Lee had to change him to Giant Man to make him less lame and Mark Millar knew Ant-Man was lame from the getgo which is why he used him as Giant Man first, then later as Ant-Man as a joke.

@PantherX Last time I checked, Ant-Man isn't the greatest martial artist in the world nor does he have a shit ton of cool gadgets and lets not even compare rogue galleries. Ant-Man's archenemy is named Egghead nuff said.

1) Captain America: The Winter Soldier (WS, Falcon, Steve Rogers: man out of time? - yes please! This is the Captain America film I've been waiting for)

2) Guardians of the Galaxy (I didn't know this team existed until they started talking about the movie. I saw them on Avengers:EMH and read a little bit on Wikipedia, but I've decided not to read any comics (or anything else on them) until after the movie because this provides the rare chance for me to view a CMB like everyone else, as just a movie, with no previous knowledge or ideas beyond the trailers. :) sounds relaxing)

3) Ant-Man (this beats IM3 due to curiosity.. Like most people I want Pym, Wasp, Ultron, maybe Vision one day? Wright seems to be bringing Lang and a very passionate vission on a character even members of this website aren't sure if they wanna see in a movie...they'd rather the talking racoon with his tree friend... But like most people interested, Wright is the hook for me)

4) Iron Man 3 (this would be higher but I'm almost tired of the character who used to be one of my favorites...it's just more of the same; Black seems to be bringing a new interesting take to the franchise though)

5) Thor: The Dark World (I don't know anything about this movie. The villain might be Maliketh? Cool I suppose..)

I want a Black Panther movie... And a Hulk sequel.

MARVEL is entering new territory with ANTMAN
&GOTG..They will need a considerable amount of backstory in the cosmic universe of MARVEL since most people are complete unaware and have no knowledge of it..
The majority of people who aren't CMB fans don't have a clue who they are..
I love MARVEL..I love DC..
Each MARVEL film that will be made will make an extreme amount of money..
But will they be great story telling films?
Not campy? I'm sure ironman 3 will be great..
Thor has alot of potential as well..
I hope they don't rush this Phase 2..
