The absence of Aquaman in Justice League: War was a common complain from fans, but through a mid-credits scene, Warner Bros. Animation teased that he would be getting the spotlight very soon. Newsarama has a few new details on an animated movie for the character, which will be a New 52-based origin story. The film will have 'Aquaman' in its title, and the Ocean Master (seen in the War mid-credits scene), also known as Orm, will be played by Sam Witwer (Smallville, Star Wars: The Clone Wars). Expect more details closer to San Diego Comic-Con this July.
