It doesn't appear there were any cameras rolling nor any Avengers: Age of Ultron stars present on set today in Aosta Valley, Italy, but several photos from the Western European shoot do reveal that the location will actually appear as a Southeastern European country, during the winter and either an earthquake or typical and less-exciting explosion in the film. More specifically, the photos via @MatteoScieghi show various Serbian set dressings--fake storefronts, a bus stop, payphone, and shop signs all in Cyrillic--as well as an overturned bus and specialty cars damaged by fake building debris. In addition, the Marvel production also constructed an aircraft cargo surrounded by green-screen, which indicates that a plane of some sort will land amid the chaos. As for who might be aboard that aircraft, there are reports of actors Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), and Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Quicksilver) in town for the shoot which starts Monday.
