While shooting Tag, Jeremy Renner ended up breaking both of his arms after a nasty fall on set. CGI later had to be used in some scenes to disguise that but what sort of impact did the actor's injury have on Avengers 4? After Justice League, we know that removing something with the use of special effects can go horribly wrong so should we expect to see the archer showing off some very weird looking arms when the Marvel movie is released next May? Thankfully not based on comments from Renner!
"It's sort of like a battle of my will to heal as fast as I possibly could, I did therapy just painfully every day and I was able to get through it all as best I could," he explained, making it clear he could still wield Hawkeye's bow while on set. "What else do you do, you just stop and cry and everyone go home? You know what I mean? I'd be like, 'sorry guys, I'm not going to use a bow and arrow now in Avengers,' it's silly, so I have to kind of push through so that you can perform for everyone."
Hawkeye was nowhere to be seen in Avengers: Infinity War so fans are understandably anxious to see him return in the currently untitled fourth instalment. What sort of role he'll have remains to be seen but set photos have confirmed that he suits up as Ronin, so it should be fun seeing where this story takes him after Thanos's snap decision. What are you hoping to see from Clint Barton in the movie?
