AVENGERS 4: Tom Hiddleston Arrives On Set For A Pivotal Flashback To THE AVENGERS
The latest batch of Avengers 4 set photos have surfaced and as well as featuring a new look at Thor rocking his classic duds, we see Tom Hiddleston suited up for a flashback to Joss Whedon's The Avengers!
Earlier today, we got some photos from the set of Avengers 4 showing Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Hemsworth wearing the costumes Tony Stark and Thor were in near the end of The Avengers. The scene clearly takes place shortly after Loki is defeated and a gag is put over his mouth to dampen his powers. From there, he was returned to Asgard via the Tesseract and placed within a holding cell.
For some reason, this movie is going to delve further into the moments after the final battle/before Thor and Loki departed Earth but why that would be important is hard to say. Did the God of Mischief strike some sort of last-minute bargain with Thanos or was the Tesseract tampered with in some way?
Given the inclusion of Doctor Strange's Eye of Agamotto, we could even be looking at time travel here and these flashbacks leave us with more questions than answers. Regardless, Tom Hiddleston was spotted on set earlier today back in costume as Loki and that gag has made yet another appearance.
