AVENGERS: ENDGAME - Another Dusted Character Has Been Revealed, And They'll Be Familiar To THOR Fans

A closer look at a TV spot released earlier today for Avengers: Endgame reveals that yet another fan-favourite character can be counted among the Mad Titan's victims in Avengers: Infinity War...

Earlier today, yet another TV spot for Avengers: Endgame found its way online, and some eagle eyed fans have since pointed out that it reveals another of Thanos' victims.

As you'll no doubt recall, Avengers: Infinity War wrapped up with the Mad Titan snapping his fingers and wiping out half the universe, and recent character posters confirmed that while Valkyrie is among the living, Shuri is not.

Well, take a closer look at this footage and you'll notice that Captain Marvel is looking at some of the characters that turned to dust when the power of the Infinity Gauntlet was unleashed, and Dr. Eric Selvig is among them. The Falcon and Scarlet Witch are also shown, but that's obviously no great surprise.

Selvig appeared in Thor, The Avengers, Thor: The Dark World, and Avengers: Age of Ultron and is something of an expert when it comes to Asgard and the Infinity Stones.

For whatever reason, Marvel Studios has decided that his expertise is not required here, but it's just as likely that Stellan Skarsgård simply wasn't interested in returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Either way, Earth's Mightiest Heroes will have to make do without him and it definitely feels like the Russos are trying to keep the spotlight solely on the original key characters.

In related news, there's a very interesting theory doing the rounds which claims that the battle between The Avengers and Thanos we saw in yesterday's trailer was actually on Xandar and takes place in the past, hence why he's decked out in armour and doesn't appear to have the Gauntlet.
