Avengers: Endgame marks a historic and climatic end to the first decade of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, serving as the epic follow-up to Avengers: Infinity War. The final piece of the puzzle, Carol Danvers, was just introduced to audiences in Captain Marvel, and based on how that movie end, fans should be more than ready to see how the Russos integrate her into Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
Earlier tonight, the Russo brothers passed a major milestone in the post-production process and are now one step closer to sharing the highly anticipated film with the world. They shared the following tweet, suggesting they had nearly reached the finish line with editing.
With the picture now more or less complete, everything on screen for Avengers: Endgame should finally be assembled, in viewing order. This means the Russos are likely done cutting the movie together and have determined an appropriate runtime, which will undoubtedly be revealed to us in the coming weeks.
While they may be in the final stages of completing Avengers: Endgame, they have not crossed the finish line just yet as they likely still have to finalize effects for the audio, score, sound. The VFX crew will also be hard-at-work for the next month or so as they put the final touches on the twenty-second entry to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
