The embargo for
Avengers: Endgame reviews is scheduled to lift on April 23, three days before the highly anticipated blockbuster sequel hits theaters; however, we now have our first unofficial reaction to the movie.
It comes by way of a “credible industry professional” who has reportedly seen the film, according to Deadline. In an article aimed at breaking down the opening weekend projections for
Avengers: Endgame, the site notes that the film has a legitimate chance of breaking $300 million domestically. Most analysts have it
tracking towards a $200-$250 million domestic opening, though that's probably being conservative.
It’s when the site shifts to factors that could help or hinder the film’s box office performance when we get our first hint of what to expect from
Avengers: Endgame. And it sounds like we’re in for a real treat.
"Momentum and interest on tracking services is high, and will only grow. What could slow these projections down? Bad reviews, but we hear that’s not the case with this Thanos follow-up: One credible industry professional who saw the movie says the second half is mind-blowing."
Anticipation is clearly high leading up to
Avengers: Endgame and while this reaction is incredibly vague, it furthers the intrigue as we draw closer to the film's release. We can expect this sort of hype-building to continue as more of these types of reactions start to come to light.
The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios' grand conclusion to twenty-two films, "Avengers: Endgame."
Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26. To help pass the time, let us know what you think this mind-blowing event will be in the second half of the film.
