Avengers: Endgame is the first Marvel Studios film since the first
Iron Man to forgo a post-credits stinger, but there are still a few reasons to stay in your seat until the lights come on.
For one, there's a stunning credits sequence which lists off every principal cast member and guest appearance in the movie, with new artwork and reserved for the main six right at the end. The images are also accompanied by signatures from Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr.

Then, right at the end, there's...
something. It's subtle, but just as the credits are finishing up, a faint hammering sound can be heard. We can't be certain what this signifies, but, personally, I took it as a little nod to Tony Stark working on something in the afterlife.
What about you guys? Did you catch the sound? If so, what do you think it meant? Drop us a comment down below, and you can also check out my 5-star review of
