AVENGERS: ENDGAME May Not Have A Post-Credits Scene, But It's Still Worth Sticking Around - SPOILERS

As you'll no doubt be aware, there are no pre or post-credits sequences attached to Avengers: Endgame, but it's still well worth staying in your seat until the credits have rolled. More past the jump...

Avengers: Endgame is the first Marvel Studios film since the first Iron Man to forgo a post-credits stinger, but there are still a few reasons to stay in your seat until the lights come on.

For one, there's a stunning credits sequence which lists off every principal cast member and guest appearance in the movie, with new artwork and reserved for the main six right at the end. The images are also accompanied by signatures from Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr.

Major SPOILERS Follow

Then, right at the end, there's... something. It's subtle, but just as the credits are finishing up, a faint hammering sound can be heard. We can't be certain what this signifies, but, personally, I took it as a little nod to Tony Stark working on something in the afterlife.

What about you guys? Did you catch the sound? If so, what do you think it meant? Drop us a comment down below, and you can also check out my 5-star review of Avengers: Endgame right here.

That opening scene was hard, those surpises were on point with banner/cap etc. so happy the trailers showed nothing that damaged my viewing

But damn so worth the wait and seen the double bill last night no toilet breaks lol

It’s the sound of Tony making the original Iron Man armor from the first movie.

@newhire13 - That’s all I took it for too. With all the tech he had to build the suits + almost everything else, I just don’t see it.

But I’m not the smartest block in the tool shed...

I´ll probably need to rewatch this movie 20+ times to completely take it in and find all the little details...

I didn't like it very much, sadly. 3 hours were not enough to tell this particular story. They had to rush through everything. Liked Infinity War better, it was more coherent.

@SteamBlust - I sometimes felt that a 3 movie situation could have been better. Infinity Gauntlet, Infinity War, Infinity Ends. Something like that.

@IronDean2099 - Yup, they could easily split endgame into two parts and it would've been so much better.

@SteamBlust - Yeah they should have made three movies. Endgame Part I (maybe called Infinity Quest) and Part II. There was too much story to tell to fit in those three hours.

@SteamBlust - problems for me, hulk wasted again, Bucky being sidelined, Thor a dumb ass, other than that, I could deal, but I agree the time heist needed more time.

I think it was just the tinking of the hammer from the first Iron Man.

@Nebula - that's what I was saying afterwards.

Yo Douchebag, your title implies spoilers for the end credit thing, not a major character death. Thanks for ruining that

@PewPewPew - Spoilers means spoilers. You're an idiot for clicking on an article labelled spoilers in all red, then reading passed the "Major Spoilers Below" line within the article if you didn't want to know.
