I don't think there's a single person not a little disappointed that we'll more than likely never see the likes of Spider-Man or Wolverine alongside Captain America, Iron Man and Thor, but Dorkly have now given their own humorous take on a scenario which justifies why exactly we won't see those characters assemble together on the big screen next year!

STARRING:

Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America
Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man
Chris Hemsworth as Thor
Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye
Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Ramanoff/Black Widow
Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk
Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury
Tom Hiddleston as Loki

RELEASE DATE: May 4th, 2012. (US)

Have to admit, this is one of the weakest Dorkly jokes out there.

The BearShark joke is alot funnier (wait thats CollegeHumor; than again, Dorkly is just a nerd subdivision of CollegeHumor).

@itbegins2005- Yes spider-man is a loner. That is exactly why Marvel Team Up is just a myth. It never happened. Peter didn't team up with practically the whole of the Marvel Universe.

@ Spidey91 It's good. Though tbh I didn't I think the first 40 seconds were unecessary since it's a Hawkeye tribute. I like it anyway. :D

@itbegins2005 I agree. I don't want Wolverine or Spider-Man in the movie. Are they Avengers character? Yeah, sort of... as in, Bendis put them on New Avengers, but to me, The Avengers are Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Ant-Man, Wasp, Hawkeye, Vision, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, Ms. Marvel, and characters like that.

Keep the movies to the traditional Avengers characters. I'd even be ok with seeing Hulk leave the team in the end, like in the comics. (although I doubt he will for marketing reasons). I don't want to see guys like Wolverine in the movie though, because he's not a traditional member of the team. Wolvie and Spider-Man have their own films. Leave the Avengers films to the big 3 Avengers, and other traditional ones like Hawkeye and maybe Vision

I find it funny that my comment was the only one that was reported, but there's plenty of others who agree with me. :P
Anyways, Itbegins2005 has a good point. As awesome as it would be to see Spider-Man and Wolverine on the Avengers in live-action, it would kinda clutter the story up with so many characters. besides, unless Fox and Sony decides to give their characters up, we'll never see a MCU with all of Marvel's A-list characters.

"Bow and arrow guy" lol they should totally call him that in the movie. He seems so pointless to me, especially next to those 3.

The opening scene should be Shield sending Hawkeye to stop the Hulk, but the Hulk tears his limbs off and eats him.
ScionStorm
ScionStorm - 8/5/2011, 3:26 PM
Classic before the new. These characters are burning bright for the same reasons they did when they first came together. And that is how it should be.

I agree with Fury when he says, the Avengers are a first class act. A-Listers only. I am perfectly content with who they have on board. Hawkeye is no slouch. Love his role in Earth's Mightiest. The animated films do well enough without having Spiderman, Wolverine, etc. in them. It doesn't bother me one bit if they are never part of the Avengers on screen.
