With The Avengers to start filming in Cleveland in two weeks a new statement is saying that from August 8th until September 1 one major street in Ohio will be closed along with other areas of Ohio for filming.
As reported :
Superheroes of Marvel Studio's “The Avengers,” which will film in Cleveland next month, have vast superpowers — including, apparently, an incredible ability to stop traffic downtown.
Mayor Frank Jackson's office announced today that East Ninth Street between Euclid and Prospect avenues will be closed from Aug. 8 until Sept. 1 to accommodate filming of the blockbuster movie. Meanwhile, Euclid Avenue will close between East Sixth and East 12th streets from Aug. 15 to Aug. 24. Walnut Avenue, which is between the Ohio Savings Plaza and 1717 East Ninth St. office buildings, will be shut Aug. 22 to Sept. 2 between East Ninth and 12th.
A news release from the mayor's office indicated there will be intermittent lane closures at other intersections in August and early September.
Could they possibly be filming the supposed huge fight with The Incredible Hulk and Thor, downtown in some city.
The Avengers is set to release May 4th, 2012 and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, and Tom Hiddleston
