Unfortunately, there's no new images from
The Avengers in Entertainment Weekly's 2012 preview, but they do have a brief interview with director Joss Whedon in which he points out that while the team members have a mostly equal share of the movie, it's
Captain America: The First Avenger which really sets the stage and the character himself who takes most of the spotlight in the superhero ensemble.
"I set out with a very simple problem: There is no reason for these people to be in the same movie. So that's what my movie has to be about. So much of the movie takes place from Steve Rogers' perspective, since he's the guy who just woke up and sees this weird ass world. Everyone else has been living in it."
It's hard to imagine that the likes of Iron Man and Thor will be neglected in any way, but are you happy with the focus being put mostly on Captain America? Sound off with your thoughts in the usual place. Many thanks to Twitter's
