Vin Diesel Teases Meeting Had With Marvel Studios

Details are still scarce, but Fast and the Furious star Vin Diesel has took to Facebook to further tease his meeting with Marvel; possibly hinting at a role in The Avengers 2! Check it out after the jump!

When Vin Diesel posted nonchalantly on Facebook last month that Marvel had requested a meeting, which he had no idea what was for, several media outlets & trades speculated on the nature of the said meeting. Now the Fast & the Furious star has returned from the conference and teases that:


"Marvel meeting today... Only the people in the room can tell you what was discussed... P.s. Thanks to Our page, for pushing to make it happen... you know I get tunnel vision with my work... and after that meeting today... wow!" - Vin Diesel

Included in the Facebook post is Vin Diesel pictured posing alongside a framed cover of The Avengers #2 original comic book issue; possibly hinting that his meeting with Marvel involved The Avengers 2. Of course, considering we don't know what the meeting involved, we can only speculate. Diesel has been campaigning for the role of The Vision for umpteen years, so could his inclusion of the word, "vision," be an indication that he got the role? What do you think?

Give this guy a chance. He has some decent acting chops but has just been in shit movies. Given the proper director and script I'm sure he'll do just fine.
Plus it would be awesome if he were Vision!

I'd really like to see him as Absorbing Man in a Hulk sequel where Hulk has to take on these Convicts experimented on with combinations of Extremis and Gamma radiation. They could be broken out by the leaders and the whole thing could take place on the RAFT. He could fight Absorbing Man, the U-Foes, Radioactive Man, the return of the Abomination, the rise of Red Hulk. maybe have Jennifer Walters and Rick Jones there when it happens and then they turn themselves into A-Bomb and She Hulk to help him out, maybe just She Hulk if its overkill. Also you could throw in the Wendigo as one of the experiments

I'm so excited about this, Vin Diesel is one of my fave actors and he can pull off a character like Thanos if Marvel decided to give the part to him.

Hes likely playing Vision. And we may see a relatively unknown super-hero go from small time to big time just like Iron Man.
Diesel's got a huge and loyal following of fans. Add some major box office to Avengers 2's already massive expectations!
