Could This Be The First Set Photo From The Dark Knight Rises?

A photo has been leaked online from someone claiming to have got the picture from Cardington hangars, a rumoured filming location. What is it of exactly? Well, here's a clue: Arkham...

Here is an excerpt from the report as well as the photo, courtesy of our friends over at Batman-News. Be sure to head on over there for more.

A member of the JoBlo forums has posted a photo of the Arkham Aslyum set and said "my good mate who is working on set at cardington where it’s being shot sent me this". The photo appears to be legit, and we’ve heard they’ll be shooting in the Cardington hangars.

Could this be part of Arkham Asylum perhaps? With shooting set to begin within the next few months, it's not hard to believe that work would have already started on set construction, but be sure to share your thoughts on the images authenticity in the usual place!

The Dark Knight Rises is set to be released on July 20, 2012!

Pretty sweet! It looks like it's on a set too...or maybe it's just a big coincidence. Either way, I'll wait for Intruder's comment, he always knows what's what!

I can't tell if grif is joking or not.

@Knightstalker You win.
It does look pretty legit, but as mentioned above it looks more like Burton than Nolan. And yeah, filming is supposed to begin in May, so idk.

Old photo from "Begins" I think. Looks like the same hangar they filmed BB in. Watch the special features on the DVD or Blu-Ray!

Dont think its from begins since they had Arkham set outside and this one they decided to build it inside. And even if they're filming in May, they can still start building/finishing set pieces/props

I know Nolan has stated many times that there will be no Joker references/cameos (correct me if I'm wrong)...but I just think it'd be silly to not mention him in some way.

This is definitely from Batman Begins; when Gordon meets Bats at Arkham after Rachel gets poisoned, their is a close up on Arkham's entrance which is identical to this... But then again, maybe there just reintroducing Arkham Asylum (hopefully)... I have hope in Nolan!

Oh yh, I agree 100% with revolverR, [frick] grif! Lol,the dude complains way too much!

Grif is Grif! Dont mind him!:)
He is like a old couch which smells bad, looks bad, but still you dont wanna get rid of it cause you are accustomed to it.

I think someone should make a big article about Grif cause he is pretty mysterious dude. He never answer when you say something to him.

SHHH@ Great Hugo Strange pic.
