By the sounds of it NOLAN wants to finish on top and might not want to risk making a BATS 3 because of all the hype an stuff TDK caused!

Anyway i say new villains should be = DEADSHOT and DEATHSTROKE!!! Maybe BLACK MASK, but it makes sense with BATMAN on the run an all! Geez who wants RIDDLER lol! : D

Makes since that he doesn't want to sign on yet. I wouldn't say I was doing a film if I hadn't seen a script yet either. Hopefully he wont leave and they do write a good script. This could very easily turn out like it did when Burton left after his second Batman movie. Then we got Batman: Forever! (ugh) hahaha

HONESTLY IT SHOULD BE JOKER BUSTING OUT OF ARKUM, THE RIDDLER AND CATWOMAN, BATMAN CATWOMAN CONFLICT WOULD BE COOL, THE RIDDLER COULD BE LIKE A BRILLIANT PSYCHOPATH LIKE PUPPET HEAD IN SAW MIXED WITH THE SLY HANNIBAL LECTER WITHOUT THE CANNIBALISM, JOKER, GET JOHNNY DEPP, THAT GUY I BET YOU PUT THE MAKE UP ON HIM AND HE WILL PLAY IT DEAD ON LIKE HEATH LEDGER, AWSOME ACTOR, THAT DUDE COMMITS WHOLEHEARTEDLY..

I like the Deadshot idea. If you remember from the comics Deadshot was hired as a bounty hunter to hunt down Batman and bring him in. That part fits in perfect with were the movie ended. He quickly got respect from the city and the authorities. But what everyone didnt know was that Deadshot was actually trying to win over the city and at the same time control the Underworld and the crime. So Batman and ordon team up and find a way to publicy exploit Deadshot and his motives. By doing that Batman is back in the cities good graces. Remember Deadshot is a french men my pick to play him the bad guy from Derailed and from Ocean's 12

Man I wish the joker could still be part of the 3rd movie. Johny Deep is the only person I can think of that can pull off the joker persona that Ledger created, and I think he can pull off the look also...
make up and hair line work will pull it off well.

i would add cat woman as a side story but ultimaly interconnected, Dr Quin as the way Joker gets out, and maybe Bane as the muscels of jokers gang.

Keep with the phychological criminals theme of the Dark Knight and i think a 3rd can be pulled off.

I actually like 2 actors that i also think could be the next Joker. Jason Gordon Levit. Guy looks just like Heath and if they do a Harley Quinn/Joker in Arkham Silence of The Lambs type thing with them only showing the Joker's face then it could work. I also think Jude Law could do it. If you watched the movie Sleuth with Michael Cane and Jude Law u would see why i say so

TEABAG-NOLAN UNLIKE THE OTHER DOUCHEBAGS THAT HAVE TACKLED BATMAN B4 COULD MAKE MULTIPLES WORK.IF THE HERO GETS THE BAD GUY IS A ROUTINE IT GETS OLD BUT YOU GIVE A ALREADY SUPER CRIMEFIGHTER MORE THAN HE CAN HANDLE, EMOTIONALLY MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY..THEN YOU GOT A STORY.

i just want my Batman sequel, i'd say Black Mask would be great for the next movie, he fits that whole mobster scene going on in Nolan's Gotham City, and i'd even like to see Nolan's (or whoever) take on Robin, he could take Robin and turn him into this rebelious young vigilante that wants to kill criminals or something

u ppl understand that the next movie has to be as dark and meaning full rite. its not all about fighting, if it was i wouldnt of seen it in theatres 4TIME!!! i think riddler and black mask would be good and deadshot is just a minor character. then they should have a cameo of dr.quinn visiting the joker (gordan-levitt the heath lookalike or the guy from like mike)

Tell you the truth i dont think there is a need for a huge well known villian like the Riddler...look what he did with Begins. He took 2 not really known villians (Ghul and Scarecrow) to the casual fan and made a damn good movie with it. Some even like Begins more than TDK (i'm not one). So someone like deadshot would be perfect.

I like the idea of Calendar Man as the main villain and Killer croc as a secondary and introducing Selina Kyle as a potential love interest.

I agree with the Jason Gordon Levit angle, you're one of the only other people I've heard say that. I think he can possibly pull it off if they keep it short, arkham style, and focus on other villains. AND, oddly enough, JGL happens to be shooting Inception with Nolan right now. HMMMMMM, maybe testing the waters? Kid was awesome in BRICK.

Billy exactly...imagine Gordon Levit as the Joker and Quinn trying to analyze him. All you see is the Jokers face some of it not visible due to the dark cell so the shadows hide his face a bit

One thing from TDK that we don't see is any of the remaining dialog and partnership the joker and two-face have after two-face flips his coin and lets the joker live. We also don't see Two-face burried, just a memorial service for him, doesn't mean batman and Gordon didn't sneek him into Arkham under the care of Dr. Quinn. They pulled off faking Gordons death. Deadshot is the perfect idea with Vincent Cassel playing him. Get Jude law to play the Riddler, Johnny Depp to play the joker. (Why not, Jude Law and Depp stepped in to finish Heath Ledgers last film.) But have Johnny Depp play only a small part in this one, like a cameo or a little more up until the end. The Joker has always been one step ahead with his planning. He could have his girlfriend Dr Quinn strategically placed in Arkham. She'll be the one assigned to rehabilitate two-face. That will be the small side plot that leads up to climax ending which sets up part 4. This movie will be about the hunt foir the Dark knight. Black Mask rises up as head of the bosses, deadshot as a hired merk to hunt down batman but with his own hidden agenda and riddler. Maybe even throw in the Penguin as a rival boss to black mask. Ra's Al ghul daughter will play batmans love interest/ holiday killer who kills black mask and maybe a couple other mob bosses like Maroni recovering in a hospital and then she lay's low until next movie.

Mayor that is a whole lot of stuff going on in this movie. Some people had problems keeping track with what was going on in TDK....too many villians but i like the enthusiasum (spelling?)....oh and that is the actor from oceans and Derailed Vincent Cassell he would make a good Deadshot or maybe the guy from Underworld.
